The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in computer science, hands-on development experience, and familiarity with Agile methodologies to contribute to secure, scalable applications in a collaborative environment.\nPosition Type: Full-Time\nSalary: $110k-$125k annually (depending upon experience)\nWork Location: Onsite at Patuxent River, MD.\nEssential Functions\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain software applications using modern programming practices\nWrite clean, efficient, and well-documented code in C++ and other object-oriented languages\nParticipate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives\nDebug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects to ensure system reliability and performance\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement technical solutions\nSupport system enhancements by adding new features and optimizing existing functionality\nContribute to software testing efforts, including unit testing and integration testing\nAssist with version control, build pipelines, and deployment activities\nRequirements\nRequired:\nExperience developing in C++.\nExperience working in an Agile environment (Scrum or similar).\nStrong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).\nExperience with debugging, testing, and maintaining applications.\nDesired:\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or Jenkins.\nKnowledge of JMPS/NOMS.\nExperience with Python, Java, or JavaScript.\nExposure to cloud technologies (AWS preferred).\nExperience with web development frameworks (React, Flask, Spring Boot).\nEducation / Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related Engineering field (required) and 3-10 years of relevant professional or internship experience in software development required.\nSecurity Clearance:\nActive Secret clearance required.
