The selected candidate will provide systems administration and cybersecurity support for Windows and UNIX/Linux environments while assisting with Risk Management Framework (RMF), Authority to Operate (ATO), and Information Assurance (IA) activities. This position supports mission-critical systems and requires close coordination with cybersecurity personnel, system owners, engineers, and government stakeholders.\nPosition Type: Full-Time\nSalary: $125k -$150k annually (depending on experience)\nWork Location: Onsite - NAS Point Mugu, CA\nEssential Functions:\nAdminister and maintain Windows and UNIX/Linux servers and supporting infrastructure.\nSupport RMF documentation activities and system authorization efforts.\nAssist with development, maintenance, and submission of accreditation documentation.\nImplement and maintain security controls in accordance with IA and RMF requirements.\nPerform system patching, STIG implementation, vulnerability remediation, and configuration management activities.\nReview audit logs, ACAS scan results, and vulnerability reports and implement corrective actions.\nSupport IAVM reporting and continuous monitoring activities.\nManage user accounts, permissions, and system access controls.\nMonitor system performance, availability, capacity, and recoverability.\nSupport installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of hardware, operating systems, and software applications.\nDevelop and maintain system documentation, diagrams, software inventories, and standard operating procedures.\nParticipate in Configuration Control Board (CCB) activities and change request reviews.\nEnsure system changes are processed in accordance with Configuration Management Plans (CMPs).\nCoordinate activities with system owners, cybersecurity personnel, engineers, and government stakeholders.\nSupport logistics, training, and technical documentation efforts.\nParticipate in the Ranges Department IA Enterprise Team and provide support to other organizational elements as required.\nOther duties as assigned or required.\nRequirements\nRequired:\nMinimum of 5 years of systems administration experience supporting Windows and/or UNIX/Linux environments.\nCompTIA Security+ or equivalent DoD-approved Information Assurance certification required.\nExperience administering servers, implementing patches, troubleshooting systems, and managing software installations and upgrades.\nExperience supporting cybersecurity requirements, including STIG implementation, vulnerability remediation, and account management.\nFamiliarity with configuration management processes, change control procedures, and technical documentation.\nStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.\nAbility to work independently and in a team environment.\nDesired:\nExperience supporting RMF and system authorization activities.\nExperience with ACAS, vulnerability management, and continuous monitoring.\nExperience supporting enterprise Windows Server and UNIX/Linux operating systems.\nExperience with automated security and reporting tools.\nEducation:\nHigh School Diploma or GED required.\nSecurity Clearance:\nActive Top Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain Special Access Program (SAP) access.
