Saalex offers competitive compensation, career development, flexible work schedules and excellent benefits.\nPosition Type: Contingent on Contract Award.\nSalary: $70k-$120k (depending on experience)\nThe Network Control Technician III supports the Navy Enterprise Tactical Training Network by monitoring, operating, and maintaining network control center (NOC) operations across global Live Virtual Constructive (LVC) environments. This role ensures continuous network availability, incident response, and operational performance in a 24/7 environment.\nEssential Functions:\nLead network monitoring and control activities within a Network Operations Center (NOC) environment. \nAnalyze and resolve complex network incidents, outages, and performance degradations. \nCoordinate incident response and escalation with engineering and cybersecurity teams. \nMaintain situational awareness of enterprise network status across distributed environments. \nSupport implementation of network changes, maintenance windows, and operational procedures. \nEnsure compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies, STIGs, and operational standards. \nProvide guidance and mentoring to junior technicians. \nOther duties as assigned or required.\nRequirements\nRequired:\n5-7 years of experience in network operations, NOC support, or related field. \nAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Networking, or related field (or equivalent experience). \nExperience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting network issues. \nKnowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching). \nRelevant certifications (e.g., Network+, CCNA, Security+). \nDesired:\nExperience supporting DoD or Navy NOC operations. \nFamiliarity with enterprise monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Splunk, Nagios). \nExperience with incident management and ticketing systems. \nAdditional Qualifications:\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills.\nAbility to work in a 24/7 operations environment including shift work. \nSecurity Clearance:\nMust be eligible to obtain a Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI clearance. Active clearances preferred.
