This role focuses on network engineering, integration, and optimization of enterprise and tactical network systems.\nEssential Functions:\nAssist in network engineering tasks including configuration and deployment support. \nSupport troubleshooting of network issues and system performance. \nAssist with implementation of network designs and updates. \nMaintain network documentation and configuration records. \nWork with senior engineers to support integration activities. \nOther duties as assigned or required.\nRequirements\nRequired:\n1-3 years of experience in network engineering or related field. \nBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Networking, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). \nExperience with network technologies (routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs). \nKnowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs). \nRelevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, Security+ depending on level).\nDesired:\nExperience supporting DoD or Navy network engineering environments. \nFamiliarity with network automation, scripting, or SDN technologies. \nExperience with secure network architectures and boundary protection systems. \nAdditional Qualifications:\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. \nAbility to design and implement scalable network solutions. \nSecurity Clearance:\nMust be eligible to obtain a Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI clearance. Active clearances preferred.
