Saalex offers competitive compensation, career development, flexible work schedules and excellent benefits.\nPosition Type: Contingent on Contract Award.\nSalary: $115k-$185k (depending on experience)\nThe Network Engineer IV supports the Navy by designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable network architectures across global Live Virtual Constructive (LVC) environments. This role focuses on network engineering, integration, and optimization of enterprise and tactical network systems.\nEssential Functions:\nArchitect and lead design of enterprise network solutions including LAN/WAN, SDN, and secure enclaves. \nOversee integration of advanced network technologies and security controls aligned with RMF and STIGs. \nLead resolution of complex network issues and drive modernization initiatives. \nDevelop network standards, policies, and engineering best practices. \nProvide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.\nOther duties as assigned or required. \nRequirements\nRequired:\n8-12 years of experience in network engineering or related field. \nBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Networking, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). \nExperience with network technologies (routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs). \nKnowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs). \nRelevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, Security+ depending on level). \nDesired:\nExperience supporting DoD or Navy network engineering environments. \nFamiliarity with network automation, scripting, or SDN technologies. \nExperience with secure network architectures and boundary protection systems. \nAdditional Qualifications:\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to design and implement scalable network solutions.\nSecurity Clearance:\nMust be eligible to obtain a Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI clearance. Active clearances preferred.
