Embracing innovative solutions and technologies, we offer a collaborative work environment, competitive salaries, and extensive benefits.\nThe Senior Engineer, T&E will provide technical and project leadership supporting Navy weapons and combat systems, including test and evaluation, strike group operations, land-based testing, and system alteration and installation efforts.\nPosition Type: Full-Time, Contingent Upon Contract Award\nSalary: $145,000 - $153,000 annually, depending upon experience\nWork Location: Port Hueneme, CA\nEssential Functions\nLead project teams with responsibility for personnel, performance, schedules, and successful execution of technical activities.\nSupport test and evaluation activities involving Navy weapons and combat systems.\nProvide technical expertise related to the operation, maintenance, testing, and evaluation of naval weapons and combat systems.\nSupport strike group operations and/or land-based testing activities.\nSupport naval weapon and combat system alteration and installation projects.\nDevelop and review Department of Defense technical documentation, including test plans, test reports, white papers, and related engineering documentation.\nCoordinate technical activities across engineering, testing, installation, and operational personnel.\nProvide technical guidance based on operational knowledge of Navy weapons and combat systems.\nOther duties as assigned or required.\nRequirements\nRequired:\nMinimum of 5 years of experience related to the maintenance or operation of Navy weapons or combat systems.\nMinimum of 7 years of service in the United States Navy as an Operations Specialist (OS), Electronics Technician (ET), or Fire Control (FC) rating.\nExperience as a project team leader responsible for personnel, performance, and schedules.\nStrong understanding of naval weapons systems functions and operations.\nDirect experience supporting strike group operations and/or land-based testing.\nDirect experience supporting naval weapon or combat system alteration and installation projects.\nExperience developing DoD-standard technical documentation, including test plans, reports, and white papers.\nMust possess an active Secret security clearance.\nDesired:\nExtensive hands-on experience supporting Navy combat systems in an operational environment.\nExperience coordinating multidisciplinary engineering, testing, installation, and operational teams.\nStrong technical writing and communication skills.\nPrevious experience supporting DoD or Navy engineering and test programs.\nEducation/Years of Experience\nMinimum of 5 years of experience related to the maintenance or operation of Navy weapons or combat systems.\nMinimum of 7 years of U.S. Navy service as an OS, ET, or FC.\nSecurity Clearance:\nActive Secret clearance required.
