This role involves planning and designing tools, engines, machines, and other mechanically functioning equipment, while ensuring seamless integration and performance of software, hardware, and network systems within DoD environments.\nEssential Functions:\nDrive systems engineering efforts for design, development, integration, and interface analysis.\nOversee installation, fielding, operation, maintenance, and testing of information processing and related systems.\nProvide expert guidance on system architecture, requirements analysis, and lifecycle management.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with DoD standards and mission objectives.\nOther duties as assigned or required.\nRequirements\nRequired:\nMinimum 10 years of engineering experience, including at least 5 years focused on software, computer, and/or network systems within the DoD.\nStrong understanding of systems engineering principles and DoD acquisition processes.\nDesired:\nExpertise in system integration and interface design.\nFamiliarity with information processing systems and cybersecurity considerations.\nExcellent problem-solving and communication skills.\nEducation:\nMaster’s degree in an Engineering discipline.\nSecurity Clearance:\nActive Top Secret clearance required.
