Saarthee is based out of Philadelphia, USA, with offices in the UK and India.\nPosition Summary:\nWe’re expanding Product Development team at Saarthee, a high-impact, agile group that’s driving innovation at the intersection of analytics, technology, and AI.\nWe’re looking for a Back-End Developers who thrives in a product-building environment - someone who can combine strong engineering skills with a sense of ownership, creativity, and accountability to bring new products to life.\nIn this role, you’ll work across multiple products, alternating focus based on project priorities, but own one product end-to-end - leading its backend architecture, development, and pilot execution. You’ll collaborate closely with front-end developers, data engineers, and product managers to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing backend systems that power Saarthee’s next-generation data and AI platforms.\nYour Role Responsibilities and Duties:\nArchitect, build, and maintain robust, scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices for new and existing products.\nOwn the backend foundation of one product from design and development through pilot and scale-up phases.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams (front-end, data, product) to deliver cohesive, end-to-end solutions.\nDesign and optimize RESTful and GraphQL APIs for high performance and scalability.\nDevelop and manage databases (SQL and NoSQL) ensuring optimal data flow and efficiency.\nContribute to pilot launches, gather feedback, and implement iterative improvements.\nSet up and manage CI/CD pipelines, monitoring systems, and containerized deployments.\nEnsure data security, authentication, and compliance best practices across services.\nParticipate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and sprint planning to align with team objectives.\nContinuously explore emerging technologies to enhance scalability, automation, and reliability.\nRequired Skills and Qualifications:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.\n4-8 years of hands-on experience in backend engineering or full-stack development, building production-grade systems.\nStrong proficiency in Python, Node.js, or Java, with practical experience in frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, Express.js, or Spring Boot.\nDeep understanding of microservices architecture, API design, and data integration.\nExperience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).\nHands-on experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation).\nKnowledge of message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS) and asynchronous event-driven systems.\nStrong awareness of security best practices, authentication (OAuth2, JWT), and API versioning.\nExposure to data analytics or AI-driven systems is preferred.\nSelf-starter with a builder mindset, ownership attitude, and adaptability in a fast-paced product setup.\nWhat We
