Are you ready to join a team that dreams as big as you do?\nThe Key Purpose of the Intercompany Manager is to provide strategic oversight and take ownership of the Mozambique Intercompany related activities and the full end-to-end accounting.\nKey Roles and Responsibilities:\nManaging the health of all Intercompany balance sheet accounts in terms of ageing, validity of transactions within the account, debit transactions in credit accounts and vice versa\nIdentify risks, respective route causes and identify gap-closing action plans for all Intercompany processes\nEngagement with all functions within the business to provide a detailed review of the Intercompany process\nEstablishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles internally in line with global policies and externally with regards to Financial Reporting Standards\nEnsuring adherence and proper documentation for MICS and SOX Controls and SLAs, to satisfy audit and statutory requirements\nAdhere to Internal Control protocols and co-ordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit\nSupport the business on strategic projects by ensuring correct accounting records are set up through systems\nDrive down Payables and Receivables, as well as FX impact and close open queries for Mozambique\nEnsures the provision of accurate, on-time financial reporting to the business to support decision making\nMakes sure that the team works efficiently, is customer-centric and delivers on business expectations\nEnsure confidentiality, integrity and availability of information, records or processes associated with services provided\nProviding ongoing financial accounting technical and business support to Mozambique for all underlying accounting process in the tower\nGuide the team in identifying process improvements, excellence and process automation and efficiency opportunities to improve the way we operate and work closely with technology to leverage system\nAdhere to weekly and monthly targets and all relevant SLAs and KPIs.\nPresent month-end reporting to stakeholders in line with their expectations\nUnderstanding of Exchange Control Legislation and Company Requirements\nKey Attributes and Competencies:\nStrong interpersonal/business skills and time management skills\nAbility to work on own initiative and priorities workload effectively\nAbility to be flexible with position duties and scope of work\nDriving change and demonstrating resilience\nImplementing and achieving business results through other people\nStrong Intercompany and Source-to-Pay process knowledge\nAnalytical approach/good problem-solving skills\nThinking conceptually and strategically, while maintaining a cost-conscious and practical approach to using time and resources.\nWillingness to travel\nMinimum Requirements:\nA Post Graduate finance qualification and a minimum of 5 years relative experience\nBusiness knowledge and commercial acumen\nKnowledge of imports and exports and Transfer Pricing preferred\nAbility to communicate effectively both orally and in writing\nDemonstrated ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders across the business\nComputer skills (MS Office - Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) with particularly strong Excel skills\nKnowledge of SAP, Syspro, Financial Close and Consolidation System, COGNOS System, Power BI preferred\nUnderstanding of:\nAgile, Agile WOW and Systems\nOrganisational Skills\nPlanning, focus and discipline\nAligning strategic and operational needs\nAdditional Information:\nBand : VI\nSAB is an equal opportunity employer, and all appointments will be made in line with the SAB Employment Equity Plan and Talent requirements.
