Are you ready to join a team that dreams as big as you do?\nThe Key Purpose of this role is to ensure that effective maintenance plans are in place for the maintenance of applicable equipment, that spares are available for the planned work, resources are available to execute. On the planned maintenance outage, monitor that the plan is effective. Makes recommendations to the maintenance controller, Brewing Area Manager and Brewing Engineer if unforeseen work arises.\nKey Roles & Responsibilities:\nComply with safety, health and environmental procedures and legislation\nMaintain safety and housekeeping standards\nLocate plant, equipment, spares and relevant documentation / systems\nDevelop the plan\nTags and work airings from inspection tasks are planned to carry out repairs\nContinuously improve (optimise) plans and look for opportunities to reduce the overall planned maintenance outage, whilst ensuring that all required work is carried, and plant is not placed at risk\nCommunicate effectively in teams and all levels in the plant\nContribute to self and team development\nAll work is carried out using the VPO principles\nUnderstands, Implements and Complies to the GOP requirements\nSustains what has been implemented\nMinimum Requirements:\nTrade tested, qualified artisan, electrician, millwright or similar (must have)\nN6 qualification\n3 -5 years management experience in an engineering environment\nProven experience in SAP is required\nCandidates with experience in a maltings environment are strongly preferred.\nMust have experience leading a team\nAdditional Information:\n Band: VII\nSAB is an equal opportunity employer, and all appointments will be made in line with SAB employment equity plan and talent requirements.
