Are you ready to join a team that dreams as big as you do?\nThe Key Purpose of this role is to be responsible for the efficient management of warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and governance standards. This role oversees inbound and outbound logistics to meet internal and external stakeholder service levels. The position requires effective KPI management through robust reporting and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 5 WHY, Abnormality Reports, SIC, OPLs, RACI, OWD, PDCA). The Warehouse Controller will implement standard operating procedures in line with DPO standards and manage VLC, ZBB, and FLC budgets according to annual targets.\nKey Roles and Responsibilities:\nExcellence Programmes\nImplement and ensure compliance with the DPO Excellence Program.\nSafety\nEnsure full compliance with OSHA and all relevant safety regulations.\nConduct risk assessments and implement mitigation plans.\nCollaborate with Fleet & Safety Supervisor to maintain forklift schedules.\nAnalyse safety performance, identify trends, and drive improvements.\nLead by example to foster a culture of shared safety responsibility.\nInvestigate incidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.\nDevelop CAPEX plans to enhance warehouse safety.\nOversee onboarding and training for all warehouse staff.\nEnsure emergency preparedness and conduct monthly safety reviews with DC management.\nComplete annual risk reviews and implement mitigation strategies.\nQuality\nEnsure adherence to DPO quality standards, including GOPs.\nConduct product quality induction programs for all staff.\nMaintain quality standards for all inbound and outbound logistics (FEFO, BB date, batch management).\nEnsure proper stock storage and compliance with freshness and rotation policies.\nCollaborate with quality teams to quarantine, inspect, and release goods.\nTrack and analyse quality issues, working cross-functionally to improve KPIs.\nManage warehouse cleanliness, pest control, cross-contamination, temperature control, and product exposure.\nAchieve at least 75% compliance with Global Warehouse GOP.\nImplement and maintain a location-based inventory system.\nExecute action plans to address Stock Age Index KPIs.\nEnsure adherence to blocking standards for non-conforming inventory.\nTrack and improve sorting productivity and reduce breakage costs.\nEnsure 100% compliance with quality induction training for warehouse staff.\nManage distribution returns and repacking operations in line with quality standards.\nContractor/3PL Management\nManage third-party contractors in line with SLAs and local legislation.\nEnsure contractor alignment with business strategy and foster strong business partnerships.\nMonitor contractor productivity and compliance with safety requirements.\nStatutory Compliance\nEnsure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.\nMaintain site housekeeping and comply with all relevant legislation.\nFinancial Management\nDevelop and manage budgets and forecasts.\nControl expenditures and minimise overtime and temporary staff usage.\nAuthorise expenditures and ensure compliance with procurement policies.\nIdentify and implement financial optimisation opportunities.\nMonitor general ledger accounts and analyse monthly financial performance.\nOptimise SCOH management through problem-solving.\nPeople Management\nEnhance team capability through coaching, training, and development programs such as SKAP, One on Ones, IDP)\nManage employee performance, attendance, and leave in line with company policies.\nFoster a positive industrial relations climate and support cross-functional learning.\nEnsure all employees are informed about business policies and procedures.\nInventory Management\nEnsure daily stock counts and investigate variances between ERP and physical inventory count.\nConduct monthly counts of all materials and SKUs as per MICs requirements.\nMitigate risks of obsolescence write-offs.\nManage inventory KPIs (e.g., stock posting time, inventory accuracy, OOR, DOI).\nEnsure compliance with inventory policies and close gaps using management tools.\nInbound and Outbound Logistics\nAddress escalations in delivery schedules and inbound plans promptly.\nMonitor outbound plans to manage warehouse capacity and ensure OTIF.\nManage KPIs related to inbound and outbound processes.\nEnsure reliable supply of returnable containers to prevent production stoppages.\nOversee bin card processes and resolve discrepancies.\nImplement returnable asset management strategies and hold customers accountable for sorting standards.\nDrive process improvements in picking, sorting, decanting, overpacking, and repacking.\nLoss and Overheard Management\nEnsure ERP transactions accurately reflect all loss points in logistics operations.\nImplement routines to ensure losses are correctly recorded and drive problem-solving.\nReduce supply chain overheads through effective use of problem-solving tools.\nForklift and Warehouse management\nOversee permit-to-work management and supplier performance against SLAs.\nEnsure 5S compliance and proper warehouse layout for all activities.\nTrack and manage warehouse management tools for ABC compliance.\nAudit and Compliance\nEnsure compliance with LCA and DPO audit requirements.\nManage procure to pay (PTP) processes and resolve GRIR/VIM queries.\nGeneral\nLiaise with internal and external customers to support team goals.\nEnsure routines are in place for finished goods warehousing and KPI management.\nOversee site security and conduct random verifications.\nDrive productivity and effective customer service delivery.\nManage stakeholder engagement and relationships.\nMinimum Requirements:\n3-year relevant diploma or degree required.\nMinimum of 3 years’ experience in warehouse and/or logistics operations (preferred).\nAdvanced computer proficiency, including MS Office, Oasis, and handheld devices.\nProficient in SAP.\nStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nSuperior planning and organisational abilities.\nDemonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure.\nStrong self-management and time management practices.\nHigh achievement orientation and results-driven mindset.\nProven ability to
