The role is responsible for fostering a strong internal culture, building employee engagement, and embedding the SABC brand internally through strategic communication, impactful events, and close collaboration with marketing teams, HR and other divisions.\nKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES\nIMPLEMENTATION OF STRATEGY AND BUSINESS PLANS\nDevelop and implement the integrated Internal Communications, Events, and Internal Brand strategy.\nEnsure strategic and consistent messaging across all internal platforms and channels.\nBUSINESS OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY AND COST MANAGEMENT\nLead the planning and execution of internal events (e.g., townhalls, recognition events, employee engagement sessions).\nChampion the internal SABC brand experience by aligning messaging, staff engagement, and culture-building initiatives.\nCollaborate with marketing, HR and other divisions to strengthen organisational culture and employee engagement\nGOVERNANCE RISK AND COMPLIANCE\nMonitor and report on the operational risk and compliance matters.\nImplement internal control measures to ensure good governance.\nManage financial risks to protect organisational integrity, create value, prevent financial loss and ensure compliance with applicable policies and legislations. \nCUSTOMER AND STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT\nEstablish and maintain relationships with various internal stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of the corporation’s key messages and internal brand events.\nSupport SABC sub brands with internal brand activations and campaigns.\nSupport divisional campaigns.\nCreate good relationships with key internal business decision makers.\nChampion the business partner relationship constantly seeking out ways of adding further value to the business through collaboration and appreciation of the business priorities.\nCreating value in employee focused campaigns and focusing on the total internal brand experience.\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nA National Diploma/Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or equivalent\n\nEXPERIENCE\nAt least 5 years’ experience in corporate communications, with 3 years in a managerial role.\nExperience in the broadcasting or media sector will be an added advantage.\nKNOWLEDGE:\nProven expertise in internal communications, employee engagement, and/or event management.\nStrong leadership, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.\nKnowledge of PFMA, Treasury Regulations, and governance frameworks will be
