You will play an important role in driving change within our business, joining a department that is continually on a journey of change.\nKey Responsibilities\nSabio is looking for an Experienced Backend Developer to join our team in Madrid and help us design and implement the most sophisticated integrations between complex CX environments for the most important companies across Europe.\nWork with the team to:\nAnalyze, design and develop Java and/or .NET applications.\nDevelop new applications and maintaining existing ones.\nDo project documentation. Technical and functional documentation of processes and functionality.\nCarry out test plans and ensuring the quality of software produced. \nManage code deployment in a variety of customer environments.\nEnsure systems are secure and protected against cyber security threats.\nWork with other software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended.\nDesign, develop and maintain microservices and REST APIs that integrate the client’s systems with third-party platforms.\nPublish and manage APIs via an API Manager (security, policies, versioning).\nMonitor services and analyse incidents using logs and dashboards in Kibana.\nProvide support and resolve incidents relating to integrations in production.\nCollaborate on the development and maintenance of front-end applications\nSkills Knowledge and Expertise\nEducation: bachelor's degree in information technology, telecom, math, or a related major. \nExperienced and comfortable throughout the entire software development lifecycle from idea to delivery.\nAt least 4 years’ experience in Java (ideally Spring Boot) developing microservices and REST APIs\nExperience with relational databases (queries, modelling, performance)\nExperience with CI/CD platforms and tools, e.g., git, gitlab, Jenkins, Bamboo, Spinnaker, etc. \nKnowledge of system integration: REST/JSON, SOAP/XML, OAuth2/JWT authentication\nExperience with logging and monitoring tools (ELK stack/Kibana or similar)\nExperience with Kubernetes, Git and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, etc.)\nExperience working directly with customers or key stakeholders, and able to translate customer requirements into sound designs and efficient implementations. \nGood communication skills. \nAnalytical, organizational, and problem- solving skills. \nA good level of written and spoken English. \n Bonus skills\nExperience integrating CX solutions such as Genesys (Cloud / Engage), Salesforce, etc.\nExperience with API managers (WSO2, Azure API Management, Apigee or similar).\nBasic knowledge of front-end development (Angular/React/JavaScript).\nRelevant experience in contact centre environments or integrations with CX solutions such as Genesys Cloud is
