This role emphasizes hands-on coding, learning best practices, and delivering high-quality features under guidance, while developing expertise in GCP and AI workflows. The engineer should be proficient in Java and Python.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelopment & Implementation\nImplement basic GenAI workflows: prompt engineering, embeddings, RAG pipelines, multi agent workflows.\nBuild and integrate agent tools and simple planners using ADK.\nWork with GCP services: Google Enterprise Agent Platform, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub.\nQuality & Testing\nWrite clean, documented code with unit tests.\nParticipate in code reviews and apply feedback to improve quality.\nEnsure basic observability: logs, error handling, retries.\nCollaboration & Learning\nWork closely with senior engineers and team leads to understand architecture and standards.\nAttend design discussions, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing forums.\nContribute to documentation and team wikis.\nCompliance & Safety\nApply Responsible AI principles: use safety prompts and filters.\nFollow security guidelines: IAM roles, secret management, and data handling policies.\nRequired Technical Competencies\nGenAI : Prompt engineering, embeddings, RAG concepts.\nAgentic AI: Agent loops, tool integration, memory fundamentals.\nGCP Services: Google Enterprise Agent Platform, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub.\nCoding: Proficiency in Python and Java; familiarity with APIs and SDKs.\nQualifications\n 2-4 years in software/data engineering or ML development.\nWorked on AI/ML projects and cloud platforms (preferably GCP).\nStrong coding fundamentals.\nOutcomes & KPIs\nDelivery: Assigned tasks completed on time with minimal defects.\nLearning: Demonstrates growth in GenAI and agentic competencies.\nCollaboration: Actively participates in reviews and team discussions.\nDemonstrated Behaviors\nExecution\nDelivers assigned tasks with attention to detail.\nSeeks clarity and applies feedback promptly.\nLearning\nShows curiosity; asks questions; adopts best practices.\nDocuments learnings and shares with peers.\nCollaboration\nCommunicates effectively; works well in team settings.\nRespects coding standards and security guidelines.\nWe will give careful consideration to your application and review your details against the position criteria.
