With AI at its core and operating at unparalleled scale, Sabre transforms insights into innovation, empowering airlines, hoteliers, agencies and other partners to retail, distribute and fulfill travel worldwide.\nAs part of a Financial Accounting shared service organization, you will report to the EMEA accounting supervisor and work closely with other members of the team based in Europe on a day to day basis.\nWhat you'll do\n Prepare and post routine monthly journal entries in SAP (accruals, prepayments, intercompany, payroll, and reclassifications) for US GAAP and local GAAP reporting.\n Assist with month-end close routines by preparing schedules (accruals, amortizations, intercompany data) in coordination with FP&A and tax.\nPrepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations in BlackLine and investigate variances under senior guidance.\nSupport EMEA statutory reporting and annual audits by preparing required financial statement data, compiling audit sample packages, and assisting with local GAAP vs. US GAAP reconciliations.\n Assist with EMEA tax compliance (VAT, CIT) by gathering financial data and preparing supporting tax schedules.\nMaintain supporting documentation for internal controls to ensure adherence to corporate policies and SOX standards.\n Support core transactional processes (AP, AR, GL) by liaising between internal business units and outsourced accounting teams.\n Fulfill routine documentation and data requests for internal and external stakeholders (FP&A, tax, and auditors).\nAssist the broader finance team with ad-hoc reporting and operational accounting tasks as assigned.\nWhat you'll bring\nRequired qualifications:\n1+ years of experience in an accounting or finance support role (GL/AP/AR)\nBasic understanding of core accounting principles and routine transactions.\nPractical Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, basic formulas).\nCommunicative English, both written and spoken.\nStrong attention to detail, teamwork skills, and eagerness to learn.\nPreferred qualifications:\nWorking knowledge of SAP\nAcademic degree or qualification in accounting, finance or a related field\nBenefits that support you\nWork arrangements\nHybrid working mode; 3 chosen days from the office in a week\nFlexible working hours: Maintain your work-life balance by adjusting your working hours to your needs\nPaid time off\nYear-End-Break: enjoy additional fully paid days off during the last week of the year\nPaid parental leave: Take up to 12 weeks off with pay after birth or adoption of a child.
