This role will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of ServiceNow IT Operations Management capabilities, including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and CMDB governance, within a complex enterprise environment.\nResponsibilities:\nServe as the technical expert for ServiceNow ITOM capabilities including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Certificate Management, and CMDB integration.\nConfigure, tune, and troubleshoot ServiceNow Discovery including MID Server configuration, credential management, patterns, probes and sensors, and discovery error resolution.\nMaintain CMDB integrity through identification and reconciliation rules, data normalization, relationship mapping, and alignment with CMDB governance and ITIL best practices.\nDiscover and manage cloud resources in GCP including cloud-native services, dynamic infrastructure, and integration of cloud assets into the ServiceNow CMDB.\nDesign and implement automation using ServiceNow workflows, Flow Designer, APIs, and integrations with monitoring and infrastructure tools.\nPerform systems performance analysis and root cause analysis of production incidents, including participation in 24/7 coverage as needed.\nComplete hands-on development within the ServiceNow platform including but not limited to: client scripts, business rules, ui actions, ui policies, data policies, workflow, flow designer, integration hub spokes, script includes, catalog items, portal widgets, ui pages, event and alert rules.\nPerform code review of peer development changes to ensure compliance with the Sabre ServiceNow Development standards and vendor’s best practices.\nLead upgrade / patch skip remediation ensuring compliance with the Sabre ServiceNow Development standards and vendor’s best practices.\nTake ownership of high level / complex business requirements and works them to completion.\nUnderstand business user stories / requirements to provide the technical design and solution for product enhancements / new features.\nDeliver product enhancements, new features, and defect fixes on time and error free\nProvide updated documentation of all product work including but not limited to, design documentation, technical operations / support documentation, and release notes.\nSupport existing and build new interfaces and have a good understanding of available integrations with 3rd party tools.\nQualifications and Education Requirements:\nBachelor/master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.\nMinimum of 7-8 years of experience implementing and administering ServiceNow ITOM capabilities including Discovery, Service Mapping and CMDB integration.\nStrong understanding of enterprise infrastructure components including servers, networks, cloud platforms, containers, and applications.\nStrong understanding of network architecture, SOA, object-oriented analysis and design, and application development methodologies.\nProven ability to manage competing priorities with minimal supervision.\nExceptional interpersonal skills including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.\nStrong knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, modules, and functionalities.\nHands-on experience in configuring Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages, Script Includes, Access Control Lists, complex workflows and Solution migration to higher environment.\nExperience in developing ServiceNow integrations using APIs, web services, and data\nIdeal Candidate Profile\nDeep ServiceNow ITOM expert who can independently lead discovery architecture and CMDB governance initiatives.\nStrong communicator who can bridge the gap between complex technical solutions and non-technical business stakeholders.\nStrategic thinker who can develop long-term roadmaps while staying engaged at the operational level.\nCollaborative team player who works effectively with technical teams, business users, and vendor partners.\nBrings technical depth, professionalism, and accountability to every engagement.\nWe will give careful consideration to your application and review your details against the position criteria.
