This position ensures quality standards, maintains equipment, and supports a safe and efficient manufacturing environment.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nSet up and operate CNC plasma cutting machines to cut steel, stainless steel, and other materials.\nRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, nesting layouts, and work orders.\nLoad raw materials onto cutting tables using overhead cranes, forklifts, or other material handling equipment.\nVerify machine settings, cutting parameters, and material specifications before operation.\nMonitor machine performance and adjust to maintain quality and productivity.\nInspect completed parts to ensure compliance with dimensional and quality requirements.\nPerform routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of CNC plasma equipment.\nRemove slag, burrs, and scrap material as required.\nMaintain accurate production records and documentation.\nFollow all safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies.\nCoordinate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve manufacturing issues.\nAssist with continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste.\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\nPrevious experience operating CNC plasma cutting equipment preferred.\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints and measuring tools.\nKnowledge of metal fabrication processes and manufacturing practices.\nBasic computer skills and familiarity with CNC controls and nesting software.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nSkills and Competencies\nCNC machine operation\nBlueprint reading\nPrecision Measurement and inspection\nProblem-solving and troubleshooting\nTime management and organization\nMechanical aptitude\nSafety awareness\nContinuous improvement mindset\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to stand and walk for extended periods.\nFrequently lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.\nAbility to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the workday.\nAbility to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, heat, and moving equipment.\nMust be able to wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE).\nWork Environment\nManufacturing and fabrication facility environment requiring adherence to all safety regulations and quality standards.
