This role is responsible for managing and supporting on-premises and hybrid environments, including servers, virtualization platforms, data center infrastructure, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, storage, backup solutions, and end-user technical support.\nThe ideal candidate is a hands-on infrastructure generalist with strong troubleshooting abilities and broad experience across enterprise technologies. This individual will serve as a key technical resource, ensuring the reliability, performance, security, and scalability of our organization's and/or our client’s infrastructure while delivering exceptional support to users.\nThis role requires a critical thinker who can effectively troubleshoot complex issues in dynamic environments, work independently, and balance project-based work with escalated support responsibilities.\nEssential Responsibilities\nAdminister and support Windows Server environments and core infrastructure services. \nManage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, user accounts, permissions, and identity management. \nAdminister Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, licensing, and user support. \nAdminister Microsoft Azure and hybrid identity environments including Microsoft Entra ID. \nMaintain VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V environments, including vCenter administration, cluster management, virtual machine provisioning, monitoring, patching, maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting. \nSupport physical servers, storage systems, and data center operations. \nManage backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity. \nProvide Tier II/III technical support and serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues. \nTroubleshoot infrastructure, application, hardware, virtualization, cloud, and end-user technology problems. \nImplement security best practices, system patching, vulnerability remediation, and infrastructure maintenance activities. \nMaintain technical documentation and participate in infrastructure projects, upgrades, migrations, and platform improvements. \nCollaborate with internal teams, vendors, business stakeholders, and clients to support organizational technology needs. \nEffectively prioritize and manage a combination of project work, escalations, and operational support activities. \nCommunicate directly with end users and clients to resolve technical issues and provide updates when required. \nQualifications\n5+ years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments. \nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience. \nExperience providing advanced technical support, escalation handling, and troubleshooting. \nStrong communication, customer service, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. \nStrong experience with: \nWindows Server Administration \nActive Directory \nMicrosoft 365 Administration \nMicrosoft Azure and Entra ID \nVMware vSphere, vCenter, and/or Microsoft Hyper-V \nDNS, DHCP, and Group Policy \nBackup and recovery solutions \nStorage technologies and data center operations \nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience working in managed services (MSP) or multi-client environments. \nExperience with PowerShell or automation tools. \nExperience performing virtualization platform maintenance, patching, upgrades, and migrations. \nRelevant certifications such as VMware VCP, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, CompTIA Server+, or similar infrastructure-focused certifications. \nKey Competencies\nBroad infrastructure
