You will lead a team to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals while fostering a collaborative work environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nTeam Leadership & Communication\nLead start-of-shift huddles to communicate daily goals, safety updates, and output targets.\nAssign workstations, manage shift crewing, and ensure proper staffing levels throughout the shift.\nCoach, mentor, and train new hires and existing team members on equipment operation and safety guidelines.\nFacilitate clear communication between incoming and outgoing shift teams during shift changes.\nSafety & Quality Control\nEnforce all plant safety rules, personal protective equipment (PPE) compliance, and housekeeping standards (5S).\nInvestigate near-misses, workplace incidents, or quality defects, and report findings to management.\nConduct quality checks and ensure final products meet strict company specifications before release.\nOperational Performance\nMonitor line efficiency, track daily performance metrics, and record data regarding scrap or downtime.\nIdentify workflow bottlenecks or equipment issues and assist with basic troubleshooting.\nChampion continuous improvement initiatives, lean manufacturing principles, and problem-solving root-cause analysis.\nRequired Qualifications\nEducation: High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree or technical certification is a plus.\nExperience: 2 to 4+ years of hands-on manufacturing or industrial production experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory capacity preferred.\nTechnical Skills: Basic computer proficiency (MS Office).\nCore Competencies: Strong communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and team-building skills.\nPhysical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.\nEqual Employment Opportunity\nROM Manufacturing is an equal opportunity employer.
