We have an immediate opening and are excited to find the right candidate to join our team.\nAbout The Team\nAs part of the DevOps team, you’ll join a group of DevOps engineers, software developers, and IT professionals who work collaboratively to plan, build, support, and continuously improve the tools, infrastructure, and processes that enable reliable software development and delivery. The DevOps team is responsible for developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, supporting and managing cloud-based environments and services, monitoring system performance and reliability, maintaining software configuration and deployment processes, managing source code repositories and integration practices, troubleshooting operational issues, and driving continuous improvements that enhance the speed, quality, and efficiency of software development and delivery.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nAs a DevOps I, you will:\nAssist in the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to automate software development and deployment processes.\n\nSupport the configuration and management of cloud-based environments and services.\n\nCollaborate with software developers and IT staff to resolve system issues and optimize performance.\n\nMonitor and report on system performance, recommending and implementing improvements as needed.\n\nHelp maintain code repositories, ensuring best practices in version control and integration are followed.\n\nEngage in ongoing learning to improve skills in DevOps methodologies and tools.\n\nQualifications, Skills, and Competencies\nSafers come from a variety of backgrounds with a diversity in skills and knowledge. That said, we find that those who are most successful in this role have experience with the following areas.\nRequired skills:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.\n\n1-3 years of experience in software development or system administration, with some exposure to DevOps practices.\n\nUnderstanding of software development and deployment processes used within the technology or software industry.\n\nTechnical skills:\n\nBasic knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)\nFamiliarity with infrastructure as code (IaC).\n\nUnderstanding of CI/CD tools and processes.\n\nUnderstanding of benefits and drawbacks using AI coding agents like Claude in a production environment.\n\nEffective communication skills:\n\nStrong teamwork and collaboration skills.\n\nEffective communication abilities.\n\nProblem-solving aptitude.\n\nDesired Skills/Bonus Points:\nQuick learner with a strong interest in DevOps culture and practices.
