We have an immediate opening and are excited to find the right candidate to join our team.\nAbout The Team\nAs part of the DevOps team, you'll join a group of DevOps Engineers, Cloud Infrastructure specialists, and Software Developers who work collaboratively to deliver the platforms, services, and automation that support FME, the world's leading all-data, any-AI integration platform. The DevOps team is responsible for developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, supporting and managing cloud-based environments and services, monitoring system performance and reliability, maintaining software configuration and deployment processes, managing source code repositories and integration practices, troubleshooting operational issues, and driving continuous improvements that enhance the speed, quality, and efficiency of software development and delivery.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nAs a Senior DevOps, you will:\nLead the design and implementation of scalable and robust CI/CD pipelines to support agile development practices and rapid deployments.\n\nDevelop and manage cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across multiple platforms and environments.\n\nConduct system troubleshooting and problem-solving across platform and application domains, ensuring critical system security, availability, and fault tolerance.\n\nEvaluate new technology options and vendor products, making recommendations to enhance and scale the company’s DevOps practices.\n\nMentor and provide guidance to junior DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.\n\nQualifications, Skills, and Competencies\nSafers come from a variety of backgrounds with a diversity in skills and knowledge. That said, we find that those who are most successful in this role have experience with the following areas.\nRequired skills:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.\n\nAdvanced certifications in relevant DevOps technologies, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), Kubernetes, Docker, or similar technologies.\n\n5+ years of experience in a DevOps role, with significant expertise in cloud services, automation, and CI/CD methodologies.\n\nDeep understanding of the specific tools and systems used at Safe Software, coupled with a broad understanding of the regulatory and compliance landscape in the software industry.\n\nTechnical skills:\nExpert in cloud computing, network management, and software development practices.\n\nProficient in scripting languages and automation tools.\n\nSkilled in monitoring and optimizing large-scale distributed systems.\n\nProficient in using AI coding agents like Claude in a production setting for various tasks such as issue debugging, testing, and feature generation.\n\nEffective communication skills:\nStrong leadership and mentoring skills.\n\n2.
