The Business Development Representative (BDR) is a work-from-home position based in Manila, Philippines, and a key contributor to Safeguard Global's APAC sales organisation. The role drives new business growth across the APAC region, with a primary focus on Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Malaysia. China is excluded from the scope of this role. The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player with a proven track record of prospecting and cold calling into ANZ and Southeast Asian markets, communicating professionally in English with senior-level stakeholders, and consistently demonstrating initiative, attention to detail, and resourcefulness in building a high-quality sales pipeline.\nHow you will make a difference:\nWork ANZ business hours (aligned to AEST) to support outreach and engagement with prospects across Australia and New Zealand.\nResearch and identify companies across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Malaysia that are growing and expanding, using indicators such as new job postings, funding announcements, and other market signals.\nResearch target companies and identify key stakeholders across the APAC region (excluding China); compile accurate contact data and account intelligence to support outreach campaigns.\nExecute all aspects of inside sales cold calling and outbound prospecting for assigned APAC accounts, maximising the conversion of qualified prospects into scheduled telephone appointments and meetings.\nWork directly with the Sales Representative to schedule appointments, attend meetings where required, and assist with timely follow-up activities.\nMaintain accurate records of all prospecting activities within Salesforce or the designated CRM system.\nWhat will make you stand out:\nMinimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in B2B inside sales, business development, or customer support with a strong focus on outbound prospecting.\nProven, demonstrable success cold calling and prospecting into ANZ (Australia and/or New Zealand) markets. This is a mandatory requirement.\nExperience prospecting into Singapore and/or Malaysia is highly regarded.\nNative or near-native English fluency (spoken and written), with a clear, professional communication style suited to engaging business professionals across ANZ and Southeast Asia.\nAbility to source new sales opportunities through outbound cold calls, LinkedIn outreach, and targeted email campaigns.\nExperience working with Salesforce.com or a similar CRM platform.\nStrong listening, qualification, and objection-handling skills.\nComfortable working ANZ business hours (AEST) and overlapping with Singapore business hours (SGT) while operating remotely from a home office.\nConfident presentation skills and the ability to credibly represent Safeguard Global's value proposition to senior-level stakeholders.\nRemote Work Requirements\nAbility to work full-time aligned to ANZ business hours (AEST).\nStable home office environment suitable for professional business calls and virtual meetings.\nReliable high-speed home internet connection with minimum 50 Mbps upload and download speeds.\nQuiet and dedicated work-from-home setup to ensure professional client communication and productivity.\nAbout us: \nWe’re not bound by traditional ways of doing things.
