Let us be the best place you'll ever work.\nA Brief Overview\nThe Physical Security Coordinator/Reception will be responsible for owning the front desk receptionist area and be responsible for welcoming and escorting guests and ensuring the building remains safe and secure. This position is the first contact that guests interact with so they are responsible for creating a warm, welcoming and friendly environment. This position will help to maintain the access control system, video management system, security officers and logs.\nWhat you will do\nAct as front desk lead while maintaining building safety and security. Greet associates and guests in a professional and friendly manner. Check in and out associates and visitors. Manage and enforce visitor policy. Possess comprehensive knowledge about Safelite and the featured items in the lobby, and be prepared to answer questions from associates and visitors accurately and informatively\n\nProfessionally administer all incoming calls and ensure calls are redirected accordingly. Inform point of contact when there are visitors.\n\nHelp maintain access control, creation of ID badges, printing and deactivation. Monitor and aid Physical Security with access requests.\n\nMaintain and audit the check-in/check-out log and badge log.\n\nSupport Physical Security team with alarm system audits.\n\nPartner with real estate to manage maintenance and facility needs.\n\nPerform a variety of clerical duties as needed\n\nPerforms other duties as assigned\n\nComplies with all policies and standards\n\nEducation Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma Required\n\nExperience Qualifications\nless than 1 year Required\n\nSkills and Abilities\nExcellent communication skills\n\nWorking knowledge of access control system and video management systems preferred\n\nFriendly, upbeat and helpful personality and attitude\n\nDemonstrate excellent listening and problem-solving skills\n\nAbility to de-escalate situations and use judgment and discretion to identify whether additional security or support is needed\n\nThis job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by an employee occupying this position.
