This role supplies production lines with required materials, transfers finished goods, maintains inventory accuracy, loading outbound shipments, and operates powered industrial equipment safely. Material Handlers are expected to work independently, communicate effectively, and contribute to a safe, efficient, and organized workplace.\nKey Responsibilities\nMaterial Supply & Production Support\nDeliver materials and components to production areas as needed.\nStock point-of-use racks and production workstations.\nSupport production changeovers by clearing work areas and replenishing materials.\nMonitor material levels and proactively respond to production needs.\nInventory & Material Tracking\nUse handheld scanners to transfer and track materials within inventory systems.\nVerify inventory accuracy and maintain proper material identification.\nApply labels, license plate numbers (LPNs), and other required documentation.\nMaintain organized storage and staging areas.\nShipping & Finished Goods Handling\nRemove finished goods from production areas and transport them to shipping locations.\nApply stretch wrap and secure finished goods for shipment.\nStage finished goods according to shipping schedules and requirements.\nEnsure materials are properly stored and protected during transport and staging.\nEquipment Operation & Safety\nSafely operate powered industrial equipment, including forklifts, tuggers, floor sweepers, and scissor lifts.\nPerform equipment inspections and report operating concerns.\nFollow all company safety procedures and material handling standards.\nMaintain a clean and organized work environment.\nContinuous Improvement & Team Support\nSupport team members and production operations as needed.\nCommunicate material shortages, inventory discrepancies, and operational concerns.\nFollow established work instructions and company policies.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nEducation & Experience\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferred.\nPrevious experience in material handling, warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing preferred.\nForklift certification or experience operating powered industrial equipment.\nTechnical Skills\nAbility to operate handheld scanners and inventory tracking systems.\nBasic understanding of inventory control and material flow processes.\nAbility to operate stretch wrapping equipment, scales, and material handling equipment.\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy.\nInterpersonal Skills\nAbility to work independently and make sound decisions.\nStrong communication and teamwork skills.\nAbility to prioritize tasks and respond to changing production needs.\nDemonstrates reliability, flexibility, and professionalism.\nPhysical Requirements\nLift, push, and pull up to 35 lbs. frequently and up to 60 lbs. occasionally.\nBend, reach, lift, and handle materials below waist level and above shoulder level.\nFrequently climb on and off powered industrial equipment.\nMaintain visual awareness in all directions, including frequent head and neck rotation to look behind and around while operating forklifts, tuggers, and other mobile equipment.\nStand, walk, and move throughout the facility during the work shift.\nWork overtime and additional hours as required to support production and shipping needs.\nUse hands to manipulate parts, operate scanners, move materials, and handle tools.\nOperate material handling equipment and packaging devices safely and effectively.\nUse visual inspection skills to read labels, inventory sheets, and shipment documentation.\nCompany: Delta Faucet Company\nShift 1 (United States of America)Full timeDelta Faucet Company (the “Company”) is an equal opportunity employer and we strive to employ the most qualified individuals for every position.
