Many of our key leaders started their careers in the field, showing that there are possibilities for you to progress within our organization.\nKey Responsibilities\nCreate and execute a project-specific Quality Control Plan.\nManage and maintain the QC software.\nCoordinate testing services and additional inspections as required by the contract.\nUnderstand and apply contract specifications accurately.\nConduct weekly QC meetings.\nComplete all QC system documents such as daily reports and record drawing maintenance.\nIdentify, document, track, and oversee the completion of re-work items.\nCommunicate with the Client, subcontractors, and suppliers using various methods like meetings, emails, letters, and phone calls.\nKeep track of, prepare, review, and submit necessary documents on time to ensure accuracy.\nConduct inspections before and after completing different parts of the work.\nPrepare and submit reports promptly.\nCarry out LEED coordinator duties, if applicable.\nAttend project meetings.\nFocus on site safety practices.\nWhat We Offer\n Health, dental, and vision insurance premiums 100% paid.\nWages: $35 - $45 per hour\nHealth Insurance\nDental Insurance\nVision Insurance\nLife Insurance\n401(k) with 100% match up to 6% of salary\nPaid time off\nProfessional development assistance\nSchedule\nThis position may rotate between project work groups that operate under different California-approved schedules. Some work groups follow an Alternative Workweek Schedule of four 10-hour days (4/10), while others operate on a five 8-hour day schedule. Placement into a work group determines the schedule. If a change in work group results in a schedule change, the company will provide notice consistent with California labor regulations and company policy.\nFull time\nHours vary, weekend work may be required.\nOn-site where the project is located.\nMust be willing to travel.\nRequirements\nQualifications & Experience\nAt least 5 years’ construction experience\nExperience in both civil and building construction.\nStrong communication skills (both written and verbal)\nAbility to pass a background check to gain access to work on military bases.\nCurrent QC certification with Army Corps of Engineers or Navy (Construction Quality Management for Contractors - CQMC) strongly preferred.\nB.S. degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred\nExperience with federal or public works construction projects is preferred.\nTechnical Skills\nProficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.\nExperience with Primavera P6, RMS, Oracle, etc. is preferred.\nTravel & Per Diem\nMost of our projects are located within the San Diego area. Per diem and relocation reimbursement are not provided for local San Diego assignments.
