All tasks will be performed while supporting the policies, procedures, goals and objectives of the company.\nRequirements\nTroubleshoots production and facilities equipment and repairs or replaces gears, cams, chain drives, etc.\nPerforms any other non-complex mechanic problems as directed.\nAdjusts switches, installs hoses, lubricates, tightens belts, etc., and performs any other routine maintenance on production equipment.\nMay assist other mechanics in various required tasks and other unscheduled maintenance duties as requested.\nMaintains workplace and equipment in a safe and orderly fashion.\nEnsures products meet specification following equipment maintenance by using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices.\nMust be familiar with and able to safely operate the following power tools: electric drill, saber saw, band saw, pedestal grinder, and belt sander.\nMust be familiar with and able to safely work with electricity voltages up to 240 VAC, air pressure up to 150 PSI, hydraulic up to 2000PSI, vacuums to 760 mm, and compressed gas cylinders up to 5000 PSI.\nThis description outlines the major duties, relationships, and responsibilities assigned to this job.\nThe incumbent may be called upon to perform other duties and functions from time to time not covered by this description as directed by his/her supervisor or mentor.\nResponsibilities\n2 to 5 years of experience preferred.\nHigh school diploma required, with training in basic mechanical repairs.\nAssociates Degree, a plus.
