This position oversees supplier relationships, contract negotiations, cost management, risk mitigation, and procurement processes to optimize supply chain performance and support operational excellence.\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Finance or a related field\nMin (5) years Experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Sourcing or Supply Chain Management.\nExperience negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships with a demonstrated value in excess of $1M.\nExperience with Factory and Project/Services based suppliers is highly desirable.\nSupervisory and management experience.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal.\nStrong critical thinking and negotiation skills.\nStrong planning and organizational skills.\nResponsibilities\nStrategic Sourcing & Procurement - Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business goals. Manage the sourcing, evaluation, selection, and onboarding of suppliers. Lead competitive bidding, request for proposal (RFP), request for quotation (RFQ), and contract negotiation processes. Identify and implement opportunities for cost reduction and value creation. Ensure procurement activities adhere to Saft and Total Energies company policies and ethical standards.\nSupplier Relationship Management - Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and strategic partners. Evaluate supplier performance through regular reviews and scorecards. Resolve supplier issues related to quality, delivery, pricing, and service. Collaborate with suppliers to improve lead times, product quality, and overall performance. Develop supplier risk management and continuity plans.\nContract Management - Negotiate pricing, terms, service agreements, and long-term supply contracts. Ensure all contracts meet legal, financial, and operational requirements. Monitor supplier compliance with contractual obligations. Maintain accurate procurement records and contract documentation.\nCost & Budget Management - Analyze spending trends and identify savings opportunities. Develop procurement budgets and forecasts. Track and report cost savings initiatives and procurement performance metrics. Manage purchase price variances and support cost control efforts across the organization.\nInventory & Supply Chain Collaboration - Partner with operations, logistics, inventory, and production teams to ensure material availability. Support inventory optimization initiatives to balance service levels and carrying costs. Monitor market conditions and anticipate supply disruptions. Coordinate procurement activities to minimize shortages, delays, and excess inventory.\nCompliance & Risk Management - Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and procurement best practices. Manage supplier certification, quality standards, and audit requirements. Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including supplier, geopolitical, and market risks. Promote ethical sourcing and sustainability initiatives where applicable\nTeam Leadership - Lead, coach, and develop procurement personnel. Establish performance goals and conduct performance evaluations. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
