In this role, you will travel both domestically and internationally up to 25%.\nRequirements\n8+ years of progressive supply chain experience.\nMinimum 5 years of purchasing/procurement management experience.\nExperience in manufacturing, industrial, aerospace, defense, automotive, battery, or other complex production environments preferred.\nProven success in supplier negotiations, contract management, and cost reduction programs.\nExperience managing teams and cross-functional initiatives.\nFull understanding of FAR/DFAR\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field.\nMaster's degree (MBA or Supply Chain discipline) preferred.\nMUST BE A US CITIZEN OR GREEN CARD HOLDER \nTechnical Skills\nS&OP, MRP, and ERP systems experience (SAP, Oracle, NAV, QAD, M3, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).\nStrategic sourcing and supplier relationship management.\nInventory optimization and warehouse management.\nSupply chain risk management.\nFinancial analysis and total cost of ownership (TCO) evaluation.\nAdvanced Excel and data analytics skills.\nPlanning & Inventory Management\nOversee demand forecasting, material planning, and inventory control processes.\nOptimize inventory levels while maintaining operational readiness.\nMonitor inventory turns, safety stock levels, and working capital performance.\nCollaborate with production, engineering, quality, and finance teams to support operational goals.\nLogistics & Distribution\nManage transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities.\nImprove logistics performance, freight optimization, and transportation costs.\nEnsure compliance with domestic and international shipping regulations.\nCoordinate import/export activities where applicable.\nTeam Leadership\nLead, mentor, and develop supply chain, planning, purchasing, and logistics personnel.\nEstablish performance objectives and conduct regular evaluations.\nFoster a culture of accountability, collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement.\nSupport employee training and succession planning initiatives.\nContinuous Improvement\nData driven improvements to Lean, Six Sigma, and operational excellence initiatives.\nImplement digital tools and automation opportunities to improve supply chain visibility and efficiency.\nLead cross-functional projects focused on productivity, cost reduction, and service improvement.\nMUST BE A US CITIZEN OR GREEN CARD HOLDER \nResponsibilities\nSupply Chain Leadership\nDevelop and execute the supply chain strategy aligned with business objectives.\nLead Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes to balance demand, capacity, and inventory.\nEnsure continuity of supply and timely delivery of materials required for production.\nEstablish and monitor key supply chain performance indicators (KPIs).\nDrive improvements in inventory management, material flow, and supply chain efficiency.\nDevelop contingency plans to mitigate supply disruptions and business risks.\nMUST BE A US CITIZEN OR GREEN CARD HOLDER \nPurchasing& Strategic Sourcing\nLead strategic sourcing initiatives for direct and indirect materials.\nNegotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and supplier performance expectations.\nManage supplier relationships and conduct regular business reviews.\nIdentify and implement cost-reduction opportunities through competitive sourcing, standardization, and supplier collaboration.\nEvaluate supplier risks and develop mitigation plans.\n MUST BE A US CITIZEN OR GREEN CARD HOLDER \n\nWhat We Offer\nWhether you are just getting started or are an experienced professional, we offer a robust total rewards package to include generous compensation based on market standards, healthcare, wellness, adoption assistance, discounted stock purchase, career development and recognition programs.
