If you're passionate about cloud engineering, automation and building resilient systems at scale, we'd love to hear from you.\n*** Please note: This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in our Atlanta office ***\nResponsibilities\nWhat you'll be doing\nSupporting and operating mission-critical SaaS platforms hosted primarily in AWS \nMaintaining highly available, secure and scalable cloud environments \nManaging and improving Kubernetes-based infrastructure and containerised workloads \nBuilding, enhancing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Terragrunt \nImproving observability, monitoring and alerting across cloud services \nSupporting incident management, troubleshooting and root cause analysis activities \nContributing to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation through GitOps practices \nCollaborating with engineering teams to improve platform resilience, performance and operational efficiency \nCreating automation, tooling and runbooks that enable faster issue resolution and reduce operational overhead \nHelping operationalise new products and services introduced through recent innovation and acquisition activity \nWhat we're looking for\nEssential\nHands-on experience supporting production cloud environments in AWS \nStrong experience with Kubernetes and containerised infrastructure \nProven experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform \nExperience working with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows and deployment automation \nScripting experience using Python, Bash, PowerShell or similar technologies \nStrong understanding of cloud networking, systems administration and production operations \nExperience responding to incidents and performing root cause analysis within distributed systems \nExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment \nNice to have\nExperience with Microsoft Azure \nExperience using Terragrunt \nKnowledge of GitOps methodologies \nExperience with ArgoCD \nExperience working within SaaS or software product organisations \nFamiliarity with Jira and Agile delivery environments \nWhy join this team?\nThis team supports a portfolio of cloud-hosted products that play an important role in Sage's growing cloud ecosystem.
