(Remote)\nEmployment Type: Contract\nAbout the Role\nWe are looking for a skilled and passionate Mobile Developer with strong experience in React Native and Expo to join our engineering team.\nThe ideal candidate will be responsible for building high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms.\nYou will work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver reliable mobile experiences while ensuring performance, security, and maintainability.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and Expo.\nBuild reusable, scalable, and efficient mobile components.\nConvert UI/UX designs into responsive and pixel-perfect mobile interfaces.\nIntegrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.\nImplement authentication flows, push notifications, deep linking, and app navigation.\nManage application state using modern state management solutions.\nOptimize mobile applications for performance, speed, and reliability.\nDebug and resolve application issues across Android and iOS devices.\nHandle mobile app builds and deployments using Expo Application Services (EAS).\nPublish and manage applications on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.\nCollaborate with backend developers to define and integrate APIs.\nWrite clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.\nParticipate in code reviews and follow mobile development best practices.\nRequirements\nStrong experience building mobile applications with React Native.\nHands-on experience with Expo framework and Expo Application Services (EAS).\nStrong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.\nExperience with React Hooks and functional components.\nUnderstanding of mobile application architecture and lifecycle.\nExperience with navigation libraries such as React Navigation.\nExperience with state management tools (Redux, Zustand, Context API, or similar).\nAbility to integrate REST APIs and third-party SDKs.\nExperience handling local storage solutions such as AsyncStorage, SQLite, or SecureStore.\nUnderstanding of mobile authentication and security best practices.\nExperience debugging applications using React Native development tools.\nFamiliarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.\nGood understanding of responsive design across different screen sizes.\nMust have completed NYSC.\nNice to Have:\nExperience working with native modules.\nKnowledge of Swift or Kotlin is a plus.\nExperience with Firebase services (Authentication, Cloud Messaging, Analytics, Crashlytics).\nExperience implementing maps, geolocation, payments, camera, and media features.\nKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.\nUnderstanding of App Store and Play Store review processes.\nExperience with performance monitoring tools such as Sentry.\nTechnical Stack:\n\nMobile:\nReact
