Whether your experience comes from professional household management or years of managing your own home, what matters most is your initiative, attention to detail, and genuine care for the people around you.\nKey Responsibilities\nFamily Support\nArrive Monday through Wednesday mornings to support the youngest child's morning routine - backpack checked, water bottle filled, snack packed - and drive her to the bus stop by 8:40 AM\nMaintain a calm, warm presence during the morning hours and support an easy, organized start to the school day\nMeal Support\nPlan, prep, and cook four dinners per week (Monday through Thursday) with no dietary restrictions\nWash and cut vegetables and fruit at the start of each week so healthy snacks are ready to grab throughout the day\nCoordinate grocery needs via Instacart or grocery pickup\nHandle kitchen clean-up and countertop maintenance\nLaundry & Linens\nWash and dry approximately 3 loads of children's clothing per week\nWash 2 loads of household towels per week (more during summer pool season)\nRotate and launder children's bed linens on a biweekly basis\nKeep laundry areas tidy and well stocked\nHousehold Organization & Maintenance\nSupport light daily resets: dishes, dishwasher, surfaces, and general tidying\nPrep the home on Wednesdays ahead of the biweekly cleaning team's visit\nReorganize the pantry and fridge as needed, especially after large supply runs\nCreate and maintain household organizational systems and routines\nTrack and replace household basics like batteries, light bulbs, and smoke detector batteries\nAssist with packing prep for family trips (approximately 5 to 6 times per year) by ensuring bags and supply lists are ready for the kids\nInventory & Errands\nMonitor and restock household supplies (pantry staples, paper goods, laundry supplies, pet food)\nManage running supply lists and coordinate Instacart orders for groceries and household needs\nHandle light local errands including donation drop-offs, Amazon returns, and occasional dry cleaning pickup\nPet Care\nWalk dog daily and let him out as needed throughout the morning\nSchedule and coordinate grooming appointments (approximately every 6 weeks) and arrange drop-off and pickup\nMonitor and reorder pet food and supplies as needed\nVendor & Property Oversight\nServe as the point of contact for the landscaping and irrigation service, including coordinating spring startup and fall winterization\nManage pool opening and closing scheduling with the pool maintenance team\nTrack routine home maintenance needs (air filter replacements, water softener salt) and create a reminder system to stay ahead of them\nCoordinate with the biweekly cleaning team and ensure the home is prepped for their visits\nDeep Cleaning & Special Projects\nSupport holiday and event prep (for example, Thanksgiving hosting) - ensuring the home is stocked, organized, and the cleaning team is scheduled accordingly\nTake on seasonal or as-needed special projects such as deep pantry organization and refrigerator clean-outs\nHow to Apply:\nIf interested, please submit the following:\nA brief letter explaining why you would be a great fit for this position\nYour updated resume\nAt least 3 professional references with contact information\nNote that this role requires a background check.\nWhen you apply with Sage Haus, you’ll also be added to our candidate community email list so we can share hiring updates, resources, and opportunities.
