About Our Family
We are an active, busy family with four kids, each with their own schedules for school and extracurricular activities. Our kids range in age from 9 to 4, with distinct interests and personalities that keep us on our toes. Our home is full of energy, love, and laughter, and while we keep a structured routine to manage our busy days, we value flexibility and teamwork. We are looking for someone who can step into this dynamic environment and help us juggle the daily tasks with ease.
Ideally, you are someone who can manage the chaos calmly, help anticipate the next need, and keep everything running smoothly with a smile, whether it’s laundry, meal prep, or getting the kids to their activities on time. While things are often fast-paced, there’s always room for fun, creativity, and a little bit of silliness. We want someone who will not only help us keep up with the everyday tasks but who will bring their own positive energy and warm presence to the family. If you're someone who enjoys being part of a supportive, collaborative family environment and thrives in a flexible, dynamic setting, you’ll fit right in.
Who You Are
- Proactive & Self-Directed: You don’t need to be micromanaged. You anticipate what needs to happen next, take ownership, and follow things through.
- Organized & Detail-Oriented: You understand the family’s daily rhythm and stay ahead of the small details - from meal prep and lunches to making sure activity bags are packed with the right clothing, gear, and equipment.
- Reliable & Punctual: The family can truly count on you, particularly during busy afternoons when schedules, transportation, and activities need to run smoothly.
- Flexible & Adaptable: You can roll with the punches and confidently pivot when schedules or priorities change.
- Calm, Kind & Patient: You bring a warm, steady presence with the children, whether you’re helping with homework, moving everyone toward the next activity, or simply spending downtime together.
- Able to Read the Room: You understand when it’s “go-time” and when the family needs a calmer, more easygoing energy, and you adjust naturally.
- Comfortable with a Fast-Paced Household: You can juggle driving, activities, meals, schedules, and behind-the-scenes household needs without becoming overwhelmed.
- Open to Feedback: You bring a growth mindset, receive feedback well, and are willing to adjust as you learn the family’s preferences and routines.
- Warm & Easygoing: You bring positive energy and an orderly but relaxed presence to the home.
- Ownership-Minded: Above all, you take pride in knowing the family’s rhythm, staying one step ahead, and helping keep everyday life running smoothly.
