Role Overview :

As a Fullstack Developer at Sage IT, you will be responsible for designing and deploying end-to-end web applications that drive core business processes for our global clientele. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional product teams, architects, and stakeholders to translate complex requirements into robust, maintainable code. Your work will directly influence the scalability and performance of our client platforms, ensuring seamless user experiences and reliable backend infrastructure in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and develop scalable web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks to meet specific client business requirements.

- Build and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs using Node.js to ensure seamless data exchange between frontend interfaces and backend services.

- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate cloud resource provisioning and ensure environment consistency across the development lifecycle.

- Deploy and manage application components on AWS to optimize system availability, security, and cost-efficiency for end-users.

- Conduct thorough code reviews and mentor junior developers to maintain high engineering standards and foster a culture of technical excellence.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues to minimize downtime and maintain optimal system performance for stakeholders.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in building full-stack applications using React.js and Node.js with a focus on clean, modular, and reusable code.

- Proven ability to design and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, utilizing Terraform for automated provisioning and configuration management.

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and a deep understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work effectively in a distributed, remote-first environment.

- A minimum of 5 - 10 years of professional experience in full-stack software development, preferably within a product-based or high-end consulting firm.

- A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in large-scale system design.

- High adaptability to changing project requirements and a proactive approach to learning new technologies within the AWS ecosystem.
