Alongside delivering great support today, you’ll help improve how we work tomorrow by turning repeatable legal work into better playbooks, self-service resources, digital workflows and AI-assisted services.\nIf you enjoy combining hands-on commercial legal work with technology, problem-solving and continuous improvement, this is a chance to help shape a modern legal service.\nYou’ll join Sage’s Legal Innovation Centre, working alongside legal, service design, engineering and operations colleagues to deliver effective legal support and improve the experience for the people who use our services.\nOffice location\nAtlanta, Georgia\nHybrid Working - 3 days per week in our Atlanta office and 2 days from home.\nResponsibilities\nOwning defined legal requests from intake through to resolution, applying agreed playbooks and escalation routes.\nSupporting legal teams with commercial contract review and negotiation, legal research, document preparation and other legal matters.\nBuilding strong relationships with stakeholders, understanding what they need and communicating clearly to keep matters moving.\nApplying sound judgement to identify risks, work within agreed boundaries and involve an attorney or specialist when needed.\nTurning legal knowledge into reusable playbooks, templates, clauses, guidance and self-service resources.\nHelping design, test and improve digital and automated legal workflows, including providing human oversight of AI-assisted outputs and identifying opportunities to simplify processes.\nYou’ll bring relevant paralegal or legal experience, ideally supporting commercial contracting and negotiation or another fast-moving, business-facing legal service. You’ll be comfortable taking ownership of your work while recognising when a matter needs specialist legal judgement.\nWe’re looking for:\nAn Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent experience.\nStrong legal research, analysis and drafting skills, with experience applying established playbooks and guidance.\nGood legal and commercial judgement and the confidence to work independently within clear boundaries.\nClear, practical communication skills and an ability to make legal requirements understandable for non-lawyers.\nStrong organisation, attention to detail and ownership, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and see matters through to completion.\nCuriosity about improving legal services and genuine interest in AI, automation, workflow design and legal technology.\nA customer-focused approach and strong commitment to confidentiality and professional ethics.\nExperience within a SaaS, software, technology, platform or subscription business would be valuable, as would exposure to commercial contracts, compliance, intellectual property, investigations or litigation support.
