The Solutions Consultant will actively participate in presales activities while building expertise in cloud technology, financial management, and consultative selling.\nLocation - 3 days per week out of our Johannesburg office.\nResponsibilities\nPartner with Senior Solutions Consultants and Account Executives to support customer and partner engagements throughout the sales cycle.\nAssist in delivering compelling product demonstrations, workshops, and solution presentations that showcase the value of Sage Intacct.\nLearn to identify customer business challenges and align Sage Intacct capabilities to address operational and financial needs.\nParticipate in discovery sessions to gather, analyze, and document customer requirements.\nSupport the creation and delivery of Proof of Concepts (POCs), demo environments, and customer-specific use cases.\nContribute to responses for Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and other customer evaluations.\nAssist in developing sales proposals, business cases, and supporting presales documentation.\nBuild a strong understanding of Sage Intacct's market position, competitive advantages, and value proposition.\nDevelop knowledge of accounting principles, financial management processes, and key business workflows.\nCollaborate closely with Sales, Professional Services, Customer Success, Product Management, and Partner teams.\nStay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, market developments, and competitor solutions.\nCapture and share valuable customer insights to help shape sales strategies and product enhancements.\nParticipate in customer meetings, partner engagements, training programs, conferences, and company events.\nSupport internal enablement initiatives and contribute to maintaining high-quality demo environments and presales assets.\nWhat You'll Bring\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business, Commerce, or a related field.\nA passion for technology, cloud software, and business applications.\nFoundational understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.\nExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.\nA strong learning mindset with the ability to quickly absorb new concepts and technologies.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications.\nWillingness to travel occasionally for customer, partner, and company engagements.\nPreferred Experience\n1-2 years' experience in presales, consulting, software implementation, customer support, accounting, finance, or business software environments.\nExposure to ERP, financial management, accounting, payroll, or cloud-based software solutions.\nExperience gained through internships, graduate programmes, or customer-facing roles within a technology-driven environment.\nFamiliarity with Sage solutions or similar business management software would be advantageous but is not essential.\nWhy Join Us?\nThis is more than a presales role.
