Working closely with UX design colleagues and other Business Analysts before moving onto the delivery of the overall product alongside Developers and other QA Engineers.\nYou will be supported by being positioned in a squad with a strong lead, principal, senior, mid-level and graduate set up, that will support your growth as well as a leader who will invest in your career.\n*** Please note: This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in our Newcastle office ***\nResponsibilities\nIn this role you'll:\nTest and maintain a new high-quality, scalable front-end application that integrates with internal APIs bringing it together as a complete solution. \nYou will collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Business Analysts to ship an elegant, performant, and reliable product that delivers a seamless user experience. \nIn addition, you will join a team that also:\nWork cross-functionally with various Sage teams: Product management, QA/XD, various product lines and business units to deliver for our customers.\nExperiment with new technologies and methodologies to improve our development processes and product offerings. \nParticipate in refinements sessions to provide complete stories, with concise designs and acceptance criteria ready for delivery by the engineering team. \nMaintain relevant documentation to describe logic, coding/configuration, testing and changes where applicable. \nContribute to the continuous improvement of our software development lifecycle. \nBe an active and enthusiastic team player. Partner effectively with all team members to deliver against commitments. \nCollaborate with global teams across Sage, to define, design, deliver and maintain other services across the Payroll and HR Business Unit. \nWhat we're looking for:\nExperience in front end testing with a focus on UI automation (preferably Playwright) \nExperience in accessibility testing \nExperience using Github Co-Pilot / Codex as a complimentary tool building on your own skills making deliver as efficient as possible. \nExperience of programming languages - Javascript & Typescript (Essential) and C# & SQL (Favourable). \nKnowledge of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, DocumentDB etc.) \nTooling experience - Bruno and/or Postman for API testing or equivalent. \nExperience with Agile Development & SCRUM would be an advantage. \nStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. \nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment. \nGood communication and collaboration skills. \nManual/Cross Browser testing experience. \nBenefits?
