Above all, we’re looking for someone thoughtful, dependable, and trustworthy who takes pride in making the household run smoothly and is interested in growing with the role over time.\nKey Responsibilities\nHousehold Management & Organization\nCreate and/or maintain household organization systems\nDaily reset of the house and prep home for cleaners\nKitchen refresh and reset daily\nLight tidying (dishes, surfaces, vacuum high-traffic areas, making beds, folding towels)\nClothing organization and wardrobe management (seasonal clothing swap support as needed)\nPrepare and coordinate donation drop-offs\nEvent, holiday, and guest prep as needed\nPacking and unpacking for travel for teens\nFlag household maintenance needs to the family\nInventory & Errands\nManage household orders, subscriptions, and restocking of pantry, fridge, and household supplies (including Instacart)\nManage running household supply lists\nAd hoc returns, dry cleaning, gift shopping\nManage mail and packages, including breaking down and bringing boxes to the basement\nMeal Support\nPrepare simple crockpot or fresh dinners approximately 2x per week\nManage the grocery list and place orders via Instacart (put away groceries if needed)\nFollow dietary needs and preferences: gluten-free and celiac, healthy and simple whole foods\nKitchen clean-up and maintenance\nDeep Cleaning & Special Projects\nRefresh entryway & kid’s spaces\nOrganizational projects (toys, gear)\nOccasional deep cleans (fridge, oven, baseboards) as needed\nLaundry & Linens\nWash, fold, and organize sheets and towels\nCoordinate linen rotation with cleaners (strip and/or make beds)\nPress napkins for hosting as needed\nMaintain a tidy and well-stocked laundry area\nPet Care\nCheck and change the cat litter box \nEnsure fresh water is available for both pets during each visit\nMaintain pet supplies as needed\nVendor & Property Oversight\nResearch and coordinate repairs and quotes if needed\nAdministrative & Personal Assistant Support (Potential Growth Area)\nWhile these responsibilities are not part of the role initially, there may be an opportunity over time for the position to expand into additional administrative and personal assistant support, including:\nCalendar management (including household schedules)\nReceipt and budget tracking for expenses incurred\nTravel planning and logistics\nBusiness-related administrative support\nHow to Apply\nPlease submit a short intro letter telling us a little about yourself and why this role resonates with you, an updated resume, and 3 professional references with current contact information.
