You power Sagent!\n\nAbout the opportunity\n\nAs a Senior Paralegal at Sagent, you will be a key member of the Legal team, providing high-level support across corporate governance, commercial contracting, regulatory matters, litigation, and other legal initiatives. You will partner with attorneys and cross-functional stakeholders to manage legal processes, maintain accurate records, and help the team deliver practical, timely support in a fast-paced mortgage technology environment. The ideal candidate is organized, resourceful, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities with sound judgment and discretion.\n\nWhat You’ll Do\n\nProvide advanced paralegal support to attorneys on corporate, commercial, regulatory, employment, litigation, and compliance matters.\n\nSupport the full contract lifecycle, including intake, document preparation, review coordination, approvals, signature, tracking, and retention.\n\nMaintain corporate records, entity information, governance documents, board and committee materials, and required filings.\n\nConduct legal and regulatory research, summarize findings, and prepare clear, business-focused materials for attorney review.\n\nCoordinate responses to subpoenas, discovery requests, audits, examinations, and other information requests, including document collection and production.\n\nManage legal matter files, deadlines, calendars, templates, and reporting to ensure accuracy and timely follow-through.\n\nPartner with teams such as Compliance, Finance, People, Procurement, Information Security, and business operations to advance legal initiatives.\n\nAssist with outside counsel engagement, billing administration, matter status tracking, and budget reporting.\n\nIdentify opportunities to improve legal workflows, templates, playbooks, technology, and knowledge management.\n\nHandle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.\n\nWhat You Bring\n\nBachelor’s degree, paralegal certificate, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.\n\nTypically 7 or more years of progressive paralegal or legal operations experience in a corporate legal department or law firm.\n\nStrong knowledge of legal terminology, document management, contract processes, and corporate recordkeeping.\n\nDemonstrated ability to manage complex assignments, competing deadlines, and multiple stakeholders with limited supervision.\n\nExcellent research, writing, proofreading, organization, and communication skills.\n\nHigh attention to detail, strong follow-through, and the ability to exercise good judgment in ambiguous situations.\n\nProficiency with Microsoft 365 and experience using contract lifecycle management, e-billing, matter management, e-discovery, or similar legal technology tools.\n\nAbility to work collaboratively in a dynamic, technology-driven environment while maintaining confidentiality.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nExperience supporting a financial services, mortgage servicing, fintech, software, or other regulated business.\n\nFamiliarity with corporate governance, commercial transactions, regulatory examinations, litigation support, or employment matters.\n\nExperience improving legal operations through process design, reporting, automation, or technology implementation.\n\nPerks!\n\nAs a Sagent Associate, you will be eligible to participate in our benefit programs beginning on Day #1!
