The position will work across L2/L3 operations, infrastructure delivery, technology transformation and architecture depending on experience and project requirements.\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring infrastructure platforms are secure, highly available, scalable, observable and operationally efficient, while supporting infrastructure modernization and service delivery initiatives.\nKey Responsibilities\nInfrastructure Engineering & ArchitectureDesign, implement and support enterprise infrastructure solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.\nDevelop infrastructure standards, architecture patterns and technical solutions aligned with business and service requirements.\nProvide L2/L3 technical support and lead resolution of complex infrastructure issues.\nReview existing infrastructure and recommend improvements for performance, reliability, scalability and security.\nParticipate in infrastructure transformation, migration and modernization initiatives.\nUnix / Linux & Windows InfrastructureAdminister and support enterprise Unix/Linux and Windows Server environments.\nManage operating system configuration, patching, upgrades, availability, performance and security.\nTroubleshoot complex operating system, system performance and infrastructure integration issues.\nSupport virtualized environments and associated compute infrastructure.\nCloud & KubernetesDesign, deploy and support infrastructure across AWS, Microsoft Azure and/or other enterprise cloud platforms.\nImplement cloud infrastructure, networking, compute, storage, IAM and monitoring solutions.\nAdminister enterprise Kubernetes environments, including cluster operations, workloads, networking, security and platform availability.\nSupport containerized application platforms and cloud-native infrastructure.\nDevOps & AutomationImplement infrastructure automation and DevOps practices using technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.\nAutomate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, patching, deployment and operational processes.\nCollaborate with application and engineering teams to improve deployment reliability and infrastructure efficiency.\nObservability & MonitoringDesign and operate enterprise observability and monitoring solutions covering infrastructure, applications and platforms.\nWork with tools such as Elastic/ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace, Datadog, SolarWinds, SCOM or equivalent platforms.\nDevelop monitoring, alerting and operational dashboards to improve service visibility and proactive issue detection.\nAnalyse infrastructure and application telemetry to support performance and incident troubleshooting.\nMicrosoft 365 & IdentitySupport enterprise Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and related administration.\nManage and support Active Directory, Entra ID/Azure AD, authentication, RBAC, group policies and identity lifecycle.\nImplement and support identity, access and privileged access controls across hybrid environments.\nInfrastructure SecurityImplement infrastructure security controls across servers, cloud platforms, identity and endpoint environments.\nSupport security hardening, vulnerability remediation, patch management and security compliance activities.\nWork with security teams on infrastructure risk remediation, access controls and security incidents.\nApply security-by-design principles to infrastructure architecture and implementation.\nInfrastructure Delivery & Service ManagementLead infrastructure implementation and technical delivery activities across projects and service initiatives.\nCoordinate with application, network, security, database, cloud and service management teams for end-to-end infrastructure delivery.\nManage technical dependencies, implementation plans, risks, changes and operational readiness.\nSupport Incident, Problem, Change and Request Management within an ITIL-based environment.\nParticipate in maintenance activities, disaster recovery exercises and operational readiness reviews.\nRequired Skills & Experience\n7–12 years of experience in enterprise infrastructure engineering, systems engineering, infrastructure architecture or related roles.\nStrong hands-on experience with Unix/Linux and Windows Server administration.\nExperience designing or supporting AWS and/or Azure infrastructure.\nPractical experience with Kubernetes administration and container platforms.\nExperience with DevOps, Infrastructure as Code and automation, preferably Terraform, Ansible and CI/CD.\nStrong understanding of observability and monitoring, with experience using platforms such as Elastic/ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace, Datadog, SolarWinds or equivalent.\nGood hands-on knowledge of Active Directory and Entra ID/Azure AD, identity and access management and RBAC.\nExperience supporting Microsoft 365 enterprise environments.\nGood understanding of infrastructure security, vulnerability management, hardening and access controls.\nExperience working in enterprise managed services, infrastructure operations or technology delivery environments.\nAbility to troubleshoot across multiple technology layers and work with cross-functional technical teams.\nExperience leading infrastructure implementation, migration or modernization projects.\nPreferred Skills\nExperience with hybrid cloud and multi-cloud infrastructure.\nExperience with AWS EKS / Azure AKS or equivalent Kubernetes platforms.\nKnowledge of Terraform, Ansible, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or ArgoCD.\nExperience with cloud security, network security and enterprise IAM.\nExposure to virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V or Nutanix.\nExperience with infrastructure migration and transformation programmes.\nITIL, cloud, Kubernetes, security or infrastructure-related certifications.\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.\nRelevant professional certifications in cloud, infrastructure, Kubernetes, DevOps, Microsoft, Linux or security will be advantageous.\nKey Competencies\nStrong technical problem-solving and analytical skills.\nAbility to work across multiple infrastructure
