SDE II

We are looking for a Software Engineer II to join the Identification Engineering team. The team builds and maintains highly scalable, distributed systems for real-time content identification, serving millions of devices globally while processing petabytes of data every day.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services.
• Build high-performance software using Golang (experience with C++ or Node.js is also acceptable).
• Develop clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.
• Build concurrent, high-throughput applications.
• Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Participate in code reviews and system design discussions.
• Write unit and integration tests.
• Improve system reliability and performance.
• Maintain monitoring and incident response systems.

Requirements:

• Backend software engineering experience.
• Strong coding experience in Golang (or C++/Node.js with willingness to learn Go).
• Experience building distributed, scalable backend systems.
• Strong understanding of multithreading/concurrency.
• Experience with Kafka or similar messaging systems.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL or relational databases.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to write technical documentation.
