Telesales Representative growing the customer base and revenue by engaging pharmacies, healthcare institutions and trade clients by telephone, requiring a Diploma or certificate in Sales & Marketing or Business Administration, minimum 1 year telesales or inside sales experience, and fluency in English and Kiswahili, in a pharmaceutical environment, on-site role based in Kenya.\n\nRole summary\n\n Grow the customer base and revenue by engaging pharmacies, healthcare institutions and other trade clients by telephone, while building strong and lasting customer relationships.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nProspecting and lead qualification: Make outbound and cold calls to identify prospective pharmacies, clinics and institutional buyers, assessing demand and buying potential.\n\nSales presentation and closing: Present products, negotiate terms and close orders to meet sales targets.\n\nAccount management and retention: Manage existing accounts to secure repeat orders and identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.\n\nInbound enquiries and order processing: Handle incoming customer calls, provide product, pricing and availability information, and process orders, changes and returns in line with company procedures.\n\nPipeline management: Maintain an accurate sales pipeline in the CRM, tracking quotations and follow-ups through to order confirmation.\n\nPerformance reporting: Report on KPIs including call activity, conversion rate and revenue against assigned monthly targets.\n\nQualifications\n\nDiploma or certificate in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Communication or a related discipline.\n\nA minimum of 1 year’s experience in telesales, inside sales or customer service.
