# Command Post Exercise Planner

SAIC is currently seeking a Command Post Exercise (CPX) Planner located atCamp Smith in Honolulu, Hawaii with to support USPACOM orchestrating the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) planning and efficient execution of designated Command-Post Exercises (CPX) directed by USPACOM, Theater Exercises Branch. NOTE: International travel up to 20% of the year. May be required to support the planning and execution of designated exercises. JOB DESCRIPTION: Support organizations within USPACOM in the planning and execution of Tier 1 Multi-Combatant Command Command-Post Exercises such as FREEDOM SHIELD. Develop exercise control training briefs, exercise planning milestones with associated deliverables, and exercise planning work group organizational requirements for all planning events (EDM, CDC, IPC, MPC, FPC) during the JELC. Perform Senior Control functions for the Exercise Control Group (ECG) during CPX execution. Ensure coordination with staff and other organizations to support the ECG with proper personnel during planning and execution leveraging the Joint Manning Document (JMD) process.
