This position directly supports advanced weapons development environments, with a specific emphasis on enabling data exchange between external programs - most notably the Multi-Service Advanced Capability Hypersonic Accelerator (MACH-XL) - and internal analysis systems.\nThis is a high-visibility, on-site role that places you at the intersection of network engineering, cybersecurity, and cutting-edge hypersonic weapons development - contributing directly to programs that define the future of national defense.\nYour Mission at SAIC\nNetwork Architecture & Infrastructure\nArchitect, deploy, and maintain secure network infrastructures supporting multi-level security (MLS) and cross-domain data movement\nDesign and optimize data transfer pathways for complex datasets, digital engineering models, and analytical outputs between classified and unclassified environments\nDeliver hands-on expertise across routing, switching, firewall management, and secure network architecture design\nCross-Domain Solutions & RMF Compliance\nImplement and manage DoD-accredited cross-domain solutions (CDS), ensuring full compliance with all policy and operational requirements\nConduct RMF-aligned security engineering activities including documentation, system hardening, control implementation, and continuous monitoring\nSupport accreditation activities, technical reviews, and stakeholder engagements across DoD organizations\nMACH-XL Integration & Data Pipeline Support\nLead the integration of MACH-XL data pipelines into internal analysis tools and systems\nTroubleshoot and resolve network security, configuration, and data-flow issues within high-assurance architectures\nCollaborate with SAIC cyber, systems, and mission engineering teams to ensure end-to-end data integrity and security\n Required Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Network Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field and 9 years of equivalent professional experience\nDemonstrated experience designing or supporting DoD or Intelligence Community (IC) networks operating at multiple classification levels\nWorking knowledge of cross-domain technologies including radiological filters, data guards, and transfer appliances\nFamiliarity with DoD RMF processes, STIGs, and system authorization requirements\nStrong foundation in routing, switching, firewall management, and secure network architecture design\nAbility to work on-site within classified workspaces at NSWC Crane, Indiana\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience integrating data workflows or engineering models for advanced weapons systems or digital engineering programs\nHands-on experience with MACH-XL, hypersonics, or modeling and simulation data environments\nActive certifications such as Security+, CISSP, CCNA/CCNP, or equivalent\nExperience with automated data pipelines, structured data transfer protocols, and zero-trust architectures\nRequired Security Clearance\nInterim secret clearance required to start with the ability to obtain a secret clearance.
