The team follows Agile/Scrum practices and delivers software iteratively through sprint-based development and recurring releases.\nKey ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, maintain, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines for enterprise application components.\n\nEstablish and support development, testing, staging, and production environments and administer Linux-based application environments.\n\nAutomate application build, testing, packaging, deployment, configuration, and release-management processes.\n\nSupport deployment and operation of React front-end applications, backend APIs, database components, workflow services, and AI/ML integrations.\n\nImplement Infrastructure as Code and configuration automation where supported; develop and maintain shell scripts and automation tools.\n\nManage environment-specific configuration, secrets, credentials, certificates, keys, and service configuration.\n\nSupport enterprise identity and access-management integrations, including SSO/MFA.\n\nSupport SQL and MariaDB/MySQL database environments, including configuration, schema deployment, migrations, backup/recovery, monitoring, troubleshooting, and production cutover.\n\nEstablish centralized application and infrastructure logging, monitoring, health checks, operational dashboards, and alerting.\n\nCollaborate with QA to integrate automated testing and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines.\n\nImplement and support secure DevSecOps practices, vulnerability remediation, patching, configuration management, and technical security controls.\n\nMaintain release histories, deployment records, configuration documentation, and technical artifacts supporting traceability and auditability.\n\nDevelop deployment, rollback, backup, recovery, and operational procedures and support recurring application releases and production hypercare.\n\nTroubleshoot application, database, Linux, network, authentication, configuration, integration, and performance issues.\n\nUse VS Code or comparable tools for scripting, configuration management, infrastructure code, Git workflows, and troubleshooting.\n\nActively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews/demos, retrospectives, estimation, and release planning.\n\nCollaborate with developers and QA throughout each sprint to remove deployment blockers, automate delivery, and support sprint/release objectives.\n\nDevelop and maintain operational runbooks and technical documentation.\n\n Required Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.\n\n5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, cloud/platform engineering, systems engineering, or enterprise application deployment.\n\nStrong hands-on experience administering Linux environments and strong proficiency with the Linux command line and shell scripting.\n\nExperience with Linux system configuration, package management, permissions, processes, services, networking, logging, and troubleshooting.\n\nStrong experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and supporting development, testing, staging, and production environments.\n\nExperience with Git, automated application build/test/package/deployment, infrastructure or configuration automation, and containerized application deployment.\n\nWorking knowledge of SQL and relational database systems and experience supporting MariaDB/MySQL or comparable platforms.\n\nExperience with centralized logging, monitoring, health checks, alerting, secrets/configuration management, networking, DNS, TLS/certificates, firewalls, and application connectivity.\n\nUnderstanding of enterprise identity/access management, secure SDLC, and DevSecOps practices.\n\nExperience developing deployment procedures, operational documentation, and technical runbooks.\n\nProficiency with VS Code or comparable tools for scripting, automation, infrastructure configuration, and Git workflows.\n\nHands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and supporting sprint-based development, testing, demonstrations, retrospectives, and recurring releases.\n\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.\n\nMust be a US Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nStrong hands-on MariaDB/MySQL experience, including configuration, security, monitoring, performance troubleshooting, backup, and recovery.\n\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code, configuration-management technologies, and containerized application environments.\n\nExperience supporting enterprise React/API/database application stacks.\n\nExperience with federal information-security and authorization processes, including familiarity with NIST security controls, FISMA, and ATO processes.\n\nExperience with enterprise SSO/MFA, Microsoft 365, and/or SharePoint integrations.\n\nExperience supporting AI/ML or LLM-enabled applications and automated security scanning in CI/CD pipelines.\n\nExperience with application, database, and infrastructure performance monitoring and production cutovers/hypercare.\n\nFamiliarity with Posit (formerly RStudio) platforms and supporting Posit-based data science or analytical environments is a plus.\n\nExperience supporting federal government, healthcare, life-sciences, or other regulated
