JEXC2 systems are made up of various command, control, communications, computers and intelligence subsystems and networks, including associated infrastructure and communications equipment.\nWork will be performed onsite in Panama City Beach, FL.\nThe ideal candidate will have experience supporting VMware infrastructure, Linux and Windows systems, and infrastructure automation using Ansible and GitLab. The role focuses on maintaining and improving virtual environments, automation workflows, containerized applications, and system deployment processes.\n** Note: currently, this role is primarily focused on providing engineering support for naval system builds and installs. Within the next 18-24 months, the role will transition to more operation support and sustainment-focused once the installs have been completed.\nResponsibilities:\nManage source control, branches, code reviews, and releases using Git and platforms such as GitLab or GitHub; maintain repositories and GitLab runners as needed.\nMaintain inventories, execute and modify existing playbooks and roles, troubleshoot automation, and develop basic automation as needed.\nMaintain and modify Windows and RHEL staging scripts used to configure and deploy systems.\nConfigure physical server hardware and management interfaces to prepare systems for VMware ESXi installation; maintain virtual infrastructure and VDI images.\nConfigure and troubleshoot Cisco switches, firewall policies, VLANs, and network connectivity; support Palo Alto firewalls and VMware NSX configurations.\nBuild and maintain container images, troubleshoot Kubernetes issues, and support containerized applications.\nModify Active Directory Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and troubleshoot DNS configuration and name-resolution issues.\nUpdate and maintain system, application, and infrastructure certificates;
