This is a 100% Remote role.\nJob Description\nConfigure and maintain XEServer, XEngine, TPM, SpecBuilder, and related modules. \nBuild, deploy, and optimize Edifecs processing rules, routing logic, and batch workflows. \nAnalyze and resolve mapping issues, validation failures, functional errors, and performance bottlenecks. \nManage system logging, JVM tuning, and certificate/keystore configurations. \nSupport release deployments, environment refreshes, patching, and upgrades. \nCollaborate with EDI Analysts, DevSecOps Engineers, cloud teams, and business teams. \n Education\nBachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline required; equivalent practical experience considered.\nEDIFECS certification. \nExperience\nMinimum 8 years of Edifecs product experience in EDI, healthcare, or enterprise application operations.\nMinimum 8 years of experience in software or data engineering with strong AWS experience.\nStrong knowledge of Edifecs architecture and transaction lifecycles.\nStrong experience in AWS cloud environments.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.\nRequirements\nCore Technical\nDeep hands-on Edifecs experience in EDI X12 Transactions Standards involving key X12 workflows with 270/271, 278, 834, 837, 835, 999 and other X12 transactions. \nHands-on understanding of the platform architecture and operational behaviors across the following:Edifecs XEServer (orchestrations, batch flows, execution contexts)\nXEngine (validation, rulesets, canonical structures)\nTPM (trading partner configuration, routes, agreements)\nEDI Gateway (visibility, audit, search, reprocessing)\nSpecBuilder (IG definitions, map development)\n\nExperience with EDI integration and Interface Management of all technical aspects of inbound/outbound connectivity, consistent with the following:AS2, SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS channels \nAPI-based integrations and gateway services\n\nExperience with EDI troubleshooting providing root-cause analysis of transaction failures mapping/misalignment defects, partner-specific rejection patterns, batch job flow failures, and throughput/performance degradation.\nExperience with job throughput optimization, engine performance tuning, JVM tuning and memory management, high availability and failover orchestration, and monitoring dashboards for proactive detection.\nUnderstanding AWS EC2 instance sizing, OS tuning, storage I/O patterns, file transfer endpoints, routing, firewall coordination, network path debugging, SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle management.\nProficient with Git and GitHub - branching strategies, pull requests, collaborative workflows.\nCompliance, audit, and partner governance knowledge.\nInfrastructure as code experience (Ansible, Terraform) \nProcess & Soft Skills\nStrong ability to communicate technical architecture decisions and trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.\nExperience gathering and translating business reporting requirements into technical data models. \nComfortable driving ambiguous architecture decisions to resolution with limited direction. \nExperience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and JIRA. \nStrong documentation habits -
