architecture for improved persistence\nPerform power budget analysis to inform power system and support sensing, communication, and edge processing operations of complex systems\nDevelop designs for signal/power PCBs using best practices for trace routing, thermal management, signal isolation, and grounding\n Required Education:\nBachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience\nRelevant Background/Experience:\nDevelopment of DC power distribution architectures\nExperience programming microcontrollers to monitor system status and implement control systems to toggle power amongst sub-systems/components\nFamiliarity with UART, I2C, RS232, RS485, USB, Ethernet protocols\nIoT experience with low-SWaP sensors and systems\nPCB design for DC power distribution.in small, distributed (IoT) systems incorporating power toggling via microcontroller, renewables, and modular design\nDesired Skills:\nPower Distribution Design for DC Systems\nPCB Design (Power and Signal)\nProven development of power control systems for low SWaP architectures to improve or maintain persistence on power source\nExperience with microcontrollers (C++, microPython, circuitPython, standard Python) for interfacing with sensors, relays, etc.\nKnowledge of renewables and integration of various technologies to improve system performance\nFamiliarity with marine connectors and knowledge of electrical systems in highly corrosive environments\nExperience developing system-level electrical architecture with minimal oversight\nKnowledge of standard RF principles\nSelf-starter who will
