This position applies a practical knowledge of engineering and quality principles, technical data, and standard procedures to ensure materials and components conform to specifications, drawings, and contract requirements before release for use.\nThe role operates under the general direction of engineers or senior quality staff and requires the ability to work from a variety of technical documents, use standard test and inspection equipment, and produce clear, accurate technical records.\nKey Responsibilities\nMaterial Receipt & Quality Inspection\nPerform incoming inspections of materials, components, assemblies, and equipment to verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, purchase order and contract requirements.Review and verify supplier documentation including material certifications, certificates of conformance, test data, and inspection reports.\n\nConduct visual and dimensional inspections using standard inspection and test equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, height gauges, scales, torque tools, basic electrical test equipment as applicable).\nVerify part identification, lot/serial numbers, and traceability requirements in accordance with program and customer standards.\nSegregate, tag, and route accepted and rejected material per established procedures, ensuring proper control of inspection status.\n Required Education and Experience:\nEducation: Associate Degree in Engineering Technology, or formal electronics training from: Technical School, or Class A or B military school in electronics or communications.\nExperience: Three (3) years practical experience, to include: laboratory testing, manufacturing, or maintenance.\nor\nHigh School diploma or GED and five (5) years practical experience, to include: laboratory testing, manufacturing, or maintenance.\nPractical experience applying basic engineering or technical principles to inspection, testing, or maintenance tasks.\nAbility to work from engineering drawings, technical orders, manuals, specifications, and schematics to perform technical duties.\nExperience performing visual and dimensional inspections using common measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, scales, etc.).\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings/blueprints, specifications, and quality/technical documentation.\nStrong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow established technical procedures and work instructions.\nU.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.Preferred Qualifications\n\nExperience in a defense, aerospace, or other highly regulated environment.Working knowledge of basic quality tools (non-conformance control, corrective/preventive action, root cause analysis, sampling).\n\nAbility to stand, walk, bend, and handle materials during inspection activities;
