Medusa is a government owned Command and Control (Medusa C2) System of Systems integrating sensors, electronic/kinetic effectors, and advanced algorithms to provide tailorable C sUAS capability for fixed base, portable, mounted, and handheld operations worldwide.\nThis role is focused on Tier 2/3 and flyout support to Medusa C2 sites. The FSE will provide on-site technical assistance, corrective maintenance, system integration, and training to operational units, and will work on site in Huntsville, AL when not deployed.\nKey Responsibilities:\nWhen not traveling, the FSE will work on-site, with responsibilities including, but not limited to:\nProvide field engineering and technical support to maintain and sustain fielded C sUAS systems, equipment, and software at designated locations.\nInstall, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot program-of-record software applications, integrated radios, and hardware components.\nCoordinate with Government software engineering, test, and fielding teams to install software, hardware, firmware, and cybersecurity updates.\nPerform troubleshooting, fault isolation, and repair down to the Line-Replaceable Unit (LRU) level before elevating to higher maintenance tiers.\nPrepare systems for operation, including system software loading, operator training, and final operational checks.\nWrite, review, and create maintenance processes and procedures for C sUAS equipment and the Medusa System of Systems (SoS).\nAssist with packaging and Return Material Authorization (RMA) processes for non mission capable systems or equipment to higher-level maintenance facilities (e.g., SAIC AF C sUAS Regional Support Center in Huntsville, AL).\nMaintain Medusa Gold System configurations, including SW/HW/FW upgrades for verification, and conduct associated training as needed.\nSupport and assist the System Engineering Team with SoS technical drawings and schematics, as required.\nLead training efforts on new software/hardware changes and sustain continuous learning initiatives for operators and maintainers.\nSupport the program Field Service Support Desk and perform Tier 2/3 and flyout support to Medusa SoS C2 sites worldwide.\nProvide on-site and telephonic technical support for Airmen regarding system operations and maintenance.\nConduct training to improve system performance, operator proficiency, and mission readiness.\nPerform daily COLTS review and maintain awareness of COLTS processes and maintenance actions.\nConduct scheduled equipment inventories to ensure accountability and readiness; assist with equipment check outs and tracking.\nInstall software maintenance updates and/or hardware upgrades to maintain system performance and cybersecurity posture.\nFacilitate site status meetings with FSEs, OEMs, and customers to report on system performance, maintenance activities, and upcoming changes.\nAnalyze complex systems to identify faults, system failures, maintenance procedures, and part replacements at the LRU level; assist senior technical specialists with deployments as needed.\nExecute corrective maintenance actions to reduce response times and meet contract Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).\nConduct parts replacements, system upgrades, and deployments using diagnostic tools and technical expertise.\nPerform fault determination and isolation at the LRU level, executing Removal and Replacement (R&R) of failed components both onsite and at depot locations.\nMonitor and analyze system performance trends to improve supportability, reliability, and accessibility.\nSuccessfully complete required certifications and training, including Medusa C sUAS Administrator and\nMaintainer courses (minimum passing score of 70) and OEM training courses.\nAssist in optimizing program-of-record software and hardware components for peak functionality.\nProvide independent decision-making and expert recommendations to improve system performance during complex deployments and operational scenarios.\nProvide feedback to program leadership regarding system performance and end user feedback to inform sustainment and modernization efforts.\n Target salary for this role is 85K.\n Travel: Willingness to travel 25-50% CONUS/OCONUS, including potential deployment to hostile/DZ environments.\nBachelors and two (2) years or more experience; Masters and 0 years related experience.\n5+ years of relevant experience in field service, tactical systems, or complex electronic systemsmaintenance.\n\nCompTIA Security+ (or Security+ equivalent) required.\nMust be able to attain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.\nMust be a U.S. Citizen.\nTechnical Background:\nExperience with tactical networks and network troubleshooting.\nDemonstrated experience troubleshooting computer systems and networks.\nExperience providing in field operator training.\nBasic operational knowledge and troubleshooting of Android-based handheld devices.\nBasic Operation knowledge and troubleshooting of Linux\nTools & Software:\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).\nSoft Skills & Work Conditions:\nStrong written and oral communication skills;
