# Field Engineer

SAIC is currently seeking a Field Service Engineer (FSE) to support the Medusa Sustainment project. The Medusa System of Systems is the U.S. Air Force's solution for defense against small unmanned aerial systems (s-UAS) utilizing a Government-owned Medusa Command and Control (Medusa C2), which allows for a plug-and-play selection of Passive and Active Sensors, Electronic and Kinetic Weapon Systems, as well as the insertion of a variety of Fusion, Association, Threat and Combat ID Algorithms. The Medusa C2 supports fixed base, portable, mounted and handheld operations. The Medusa Team supports the United States Air Force C-sUAS programs worldwide. This role involves implementing and optimizing hardware and/or software products and multi-vendor systems at customer sites. The position includes oversight and integration support for existing systems, installation of upgrades, problem diagnosis, and resolution, as well as providing customer feedback and support. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
